I booked one luxury room for rs. 3120/night & i was allocated room no. 207 & in the room i got: 1. The room might have been very poorly painted recently, soptts of paints are everywhere, from tea table to wardrobe to bed. 2. Furnitures were dirty. 3. Wall papers partially uprooted. 4. Few switch boards were hanging. 5. Ceiling fan bleds were bent, so we couldn't use the fan. 6. False ceiling was broken in some places. 7. Toilet door was dirty & the latch was so hard & sharp that i could have a cut on my fingures. 8. Intercom phone set was dirty & not working properly. 9. The food menu card was dirty & torn. 10. Seemed no one stayed in this room shortly. When i asked them to change the room they said all other rooms are occupied. In the upside: room service were ok & food was good with reasonable price. The hotel is one of the 11 parvati group of hotels in the kumaun region and just few days ago i stayed in one of them i. E. Parvati resort at petal bhubaneshwar and had an wonderful stay. But i will never reccomend this hotel to anyone else.

The hotel staff was very friendly. Somehow i found hotel to be understaffed though. They have enough space - they can make arrangements for a bonfire in the night considering the cold there. The lobby and reception areas could be made more happening by playing some music or having additional members offering tea or chatting with guests. The hotel is situated at a great location in the middle of the market. Also offer ample space for parking. I definitely think they should improve their reception and restaurants services l and try to make it more animated and lively.

The review is for the inhouse restaurant, as we visited the place for lunch. The hotel is situated within Market Place with parking facility. During travel, we visited late for the lunch, when the restaurant was vacant. The restaurants has adequate sitting provisions however looks to be moderately maintained. We ordered certain veg dishes, the serving was prompt, foods were reasonably priced as well as tasty, staffs were courteous. No card payments, hence paid in cash. Overall a reasonable dining option within market place.
