Summit Stonewood Hotel

Everything about this property is so excellent! I visited with my family on October 2023. We were 5 adults together. We reached the hotel at 11.15 PM. It was too cold outside. We had pre-ordered our dinner over phone while en route. Even at that late night and middle of such coldness, the hotel authorities greeted us very nicely, served us hot and warm food right into our room. Such a nice hospitality! We stayed for 2 nights 3 days. It was a really memorable experience. We booked the Mahogany Family suite. Room was so well decorated! Especially the bathroom. Even at midnight we'd get plenty of hot water. Linens and beds were very clean. Room service was very good! The balcony with the room was too nice. One would get a very clear view of the Himalayan range sitting on the balcony. Please note that the range appears 90° to the right of the direction the balcony faces. Opposite to the balcony is a picturesque landscape! The hotel's roof rop was actually the cherry on the top. It is beautifully decorated with flowers all around. One would get almost 270° view of the landscape, with the Himalayan range on the right. We took breakfast on the terrace, while basking ourselves in the sweet warm sun rays, enjoying the snow clad mountain views. There is another covered restaurant on the terrace itself, where we had dinner the second night. The ambience was very classy, with wooden finish upholstery, warm lights! Food was also very good. Hotel staffs were very polite, well behaved and helpful. It has got car parking also with driver's room. We had our rental 7 seater parked there. The location of the hotel has been wisely chosen. It is approximately 10 KMs from the Ranikhent town, but that gives you so much advantage of enjoying the nature while being able to reach the market within 20-30 minutes. Only one disadvantage we observed was lack of any elevator facility. We had to constantly use stairs for getting up and down. Our room was on 1st floor and the terrace is on 3rd floor, so if you've got aged people please discuss with hotel authorities in advance. Although they told us that very soon they would be installing the elevator and that the work was just round the corner (this I verified when I found out that they had already constructed the elevator door openings on every floor). Last but not the least, because of its location in the outskirts, at night the sky becomes super clear and so we could very easily spot our Milkyway Galaxy from the terrace even with naked eyes!

I spent 4 days here with few friends on a friend's recommendation & trust me, it was all worth it. The Villa :The rooms are cozy & well appointed with squeaky clean washrooms. The quality of linen & all the room elements is top class & easily comparable to 4+Star deluxe hotels. The balconies attached with room offer a wonderful valley view. A rooftop restaurant with open seating offers great chance to soak in the winter sun. (See Photos) The Location : A luxury boutique property, nestled in midst of nature & offering the best mix of calm surroundings, great Kumaun Himalyan views & scenic sunsets. The Villa is just next to couple of jungle trails for the adventure seekers & trekkers. The Experience : After a warm welcome at reception, we were lead to our rooms which pleasantly surprised us with attention to detail. The wooden cottage themed look was perfect for a relaxing retreat that we craved for, away from our corporate lives. All the tiredness was washed away by kadak adrak wali chai served on rooftop restaurant while we admired the views. Throughout our stay we were spoiled with tasty food & wonderful ambience. The ***agement (a cute young couple) took great care of all guests & constantly checked on the guests for any additional requirements. At night the special bonfire cum barbeque was icing on the cake. The quality & taste of all food was top notch throughout our stay. Anuj & Amit, the executives handling us always ensured perfect service & always went out of their way to ensure we had great experience. The best part was the views & constant music of birds chirping about. Highly recommend this property for all family & friends getaways. You wont be disappointed!!! Kudos Team Stonewood Villa!

Amazing hospitality. The food, staff, location all are great. We had the bunk bed room which was very comfortable especially of you are a family of 4. Even with the bunk bed the room was spacious. You can view the subset from the room's balcony itself. It is about 10kms from Ranikhet city centre. But still its easily reachable to all the main points at Ranikhet. They also have a parking for about 4-5 cars. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

The rooms were very good with excellent view of mountains and clouds. We stayed both at first and top floor. Both rooms were equally good. Services were excellent. Anuj took care of us very well with a smile and was always willing to go an extra mile to make us and our kid comfortable. . We went with our one and half year kid and we made her sleep early after her dinner and we had our own dinner at last call Anuj ensured that he came into the room quietly. The chicken pizza was very fresh and so was the pahadi chicken. Will suggest to stay her for complete relaxation.

We came here to enjoy the uninterrupted view of the Himalayan range. Feeling blessed. The staff here has been extremely warm and always ready to accommodate your requests. Thanks to Amit Kumar and Sagar Kumar for looking after us. These young blokes can teach a lot of hospitality organisations the real meaning of customer service. Thanks to Stonewood Villa for making aur trip a lifetime memory.!!!

Stonewood Villa has the best view for miles around. The staff is extremely helpful and available at all hours. The food is great especially their pahadi chicken which is a must try imo. The rooms look exactly like their pictures and the bunk beds are so comfortable and airy. 10/10 recommend

It’s wonderful experience to stay at stone wood…rooms are neat n clean with mesmerizing view of Himalayas. Small property with wonderful staff created homely a**osphere. The boys Sagar n Amit had taken care for our food and other services like bonfire. Roof terrace is awesome - we spent our maximum time with bonfire.

If you want to experience magic just visit this place. They just not provide services,they gives you an experience to remember. They have the best view with the best food and services. Do try their Pahadi chicken, coffee and sandwiches. Special thanks to Anuj,being so polite and helped us with whatever we required. We are so happy with the stay and would love to visit again.
