Wow is the word. But let me explain you this property. This property is situated in cantt board area, near to meghdoot hotel, 2 to 3 km away from main ranikhet sadar Bazar, making this place more peaceful. Property is divided into 3 parts. 1. Main bungalow which is the most beautiful part of this property contains 3 rooms, 2 of which have double bed and 1 is family suite. They provide extra bed though. This is faced by well mopped lawn, making place comfortable for kids and old people. This part contains dining area and cozy sitting place attached to this dining area which makes your evening more warm when sitting with family and sipping hot tea. Booking for which is done through stay Vista, but these roo.s are available on MMT also. Go for these rooms if you ve kids and old family people. 2. Out house. These rooms are on FIRST FLOOR, ground floor has rooms for staff members and family. So book only if you are comfortable with 1st floor and staff quarter on ground floor. Lawn is no maintained at all. It's a simple ground, that too small. Nothing much to talk about it. 3. Tents. They are approx 150 meter from main bungalow. They are beautiful but again if you have old people, I ll suggest not to book. They don't provide any facility of roo service and intercom there. So you ve to have prior word with property ***ager before hand. In rains, the reach and usability becomes more difficult. Of you have group of young people, you can go for the tents but again there is no lawn or ground. You have to be in your tents for maximum time of you are not going out. Food quality is awesome. They help you for all kind of stuff for your kids and family. When I went there, there was a confusion for rooms as some wedding was going on, but Mr. Ajay helped me through. But learning here is to know the property and talk to them before hand so they can be prepared. Greta staff.

The property is fabulous with stunning views. We could feel the freshness of pure air all around. Surrounded by flora and fauna, this property is true value for money because of its location, away from the hustle, city noise and light pollution. We were lucky to get clear skies and gaze at stars ! The whispering of trees when the wind blows and singing of crickets had a healing effect as we don't get to experience this in cities. We booked the entire bungalow which is about 120 years old and recently renovated and redorated ! The staff was very courteous and ensured we all were comfortable. Food and weather was awesome and became the main highlight of the trip...and the interior decor dreamy and comfortable. Their team helped in customizing our stay with pre planned meals, barbeque night, kids activities such as painting and cooking and short of-the-beaten path treks around the town. We also visited the local markets, temples, hill tops, NGO's and clubs around the town. All this was possible because of pre-planning. Please visit if you're like one of us who appreciate nature, quiet and lots of walking and exploration. Have low expectations, unwind yourself and you'll be surprised at what you get. Thanks !

We stayed there for 4 nights. Three families. Great experience. Loved the serene a**osphere with surrounding hills and pine trees. Old English style building, nicely maintained with old artifacts and furniture. Big rooms, elegantly decorated. Caring staff. Enjoyed the food prepared by the chef.

We were looking forward for our stay at Balmoral Camp bliss, considering it’s been a long time since as a family we had a chance to take some sort of vacation. Looking at all the pictures of the place and glowing reviews, we were keen to reach there and enjoy our stay at the property. (It is advisable that you ask someone at the property to guide you for the last km, as google map just gives it up before a kilometer. Now coming to the property, on first look it really looks awesome. The bungalow itself is nice well done and clean. We had booked ourselves tent, going by the pictures in gallery we thought of giving ourselves a new experience without compromising on any of the basic creature comforts. Now there are a few points to note before you opt for a tent stay. Pictures aren’t portraying the truth. 1. It’s clear the tents aren’t cleaned regularly. We were left really disappointed seeing the state of it from inside, there were areas where we were consciously avoiding any touch. 2. If you have any elders or someone who finds it tough to climb up stairs, don't opt for it, as there are some stairs to reach them. I had my mother with me, who finds it difficult to climb up frequently, so it was indeed tough for her. Instead book rooms in the main bungalow, they are spacious and far well maintained and clean. 3. The Lenin and floor de***d much, again proper scheduled cleaning it seems is skipped. 4. Ensure you bring all your toiletries essential, they just have some soap bars, and on request they provide dental kit (tooth brush and paste). I avoided using the towels provided after looking at how the linen in the room was kept. 5. Normally for the price you pay, you expect tea coffee kit. Yes it was provided, but one look at the inside of kettle, we thought it’s wise not to use it. Ended up ordering our morning and evening tea from the kitchen, as after repeated requests kettles weren't replaced. Of course the tea we ordered came at a price, which we realized while settling the bills. 6. Tents though give you a unique experience, they are quite, with only the sounds of birds chirping and an occasional howling from animals. (If it rains, it does gets noisy inside the tents and you hear every drop falling on top of it). 7. Since it’s kind of in the middle of forest surrounded by tress and flora, you would encounter some insects etc. but that adds to the whole experience. Coming to the rest of the property, as I said the property itself is nice, though don’t expect views of the valley. This is right in the middle of tall pine trees around it, and you experience complete seclusion. However, the property it seems is clearly not ***aged well, or at least during our stay. The staff is courteous but most of the times seems confused, with no one taking any lead, for everything they rely on calling someone for guidance. We had booked the property with all meals. The meals themselves for whatever was served was extremely delicious, it’s all home
