Well, if you like keycards that don’t work, a rude front staff, dirty rooms, non-existent maid service, then this is your place. The first night we checked it, we were sent to our room three times with a key card that didn’t work. Then they attempted to put us in another room, but I had paid for a room with two queens and the new room had one queen bed. So, we had to switch again. It took us an hour of back and forth to check in. At least this staff person was apologetic and gave us a 10 dollar snack voucher for the snack bar and a beer.
However, there was another evening front desk clerk who was down right rude the other nights, when our keycards again would not work. This gal was down right lazy and told me I had to wait for the new card to “activate”. After going up to the room twice she sighed, rolled her eyes at me and nastily responded she would have to open the door for us. God forbid she had to walk up there. Truly rude and awful.
Will never choose to stay at this hotel again give the rude front desk staff. I’ll stay right next door at one of the other hotels attached to the water park. User beware. This hotel is really awful..

I wish there were parking spots closer to the building. I did enjoy that the rooms had a full on kitchen. That was nice to have if one is staying for several days.

Loved the size of the rooms, the hotel lost power during our stay, due to the high winds and the weather but still felt safe. So now, Home 2 Suites is my 1st choice when traveling now,

We booked a room with a sofa sleeper as we had a party of 5 people. The hideaway couch was broke, the food, wrappers and filth under the couch was disgusting. The front desk did not answer when calling 6 times. I had to go ask for help, no maintenance on site and the front desk lady was rude. She came up to “fix” the problem and couldn’t. The bathroom door was broke, didn’t close nor lock.

Terrible! Worst experience I’ve had in a hotel in a really long time. As soon as we entered our room I noticed the AC was making a terrible noise. I called front desk she said she would send maintenance. This was around 6pm. I called every hour until 10pm and the maintenance never showed. So now we are sleeping in a sweat box. The hotel is fully booked so she couldn’t move our room. Home2 is my favorite place to stay with my family. With 4 kids there aren’t many places we can stay all in one room. THIS HOME2 location is THE ABSOLUTE WORST! It’s not clean. The pull out mattress has very questionable appearance. The room isnt stocked with the usual items. No bedding for the pull out, no trash can in the bathroom, not enough towels. Only positive thing is the girl working the front desk is very nice. She is working hard and seems overwhelmed. I never understand why hotels only have one person working the front desk especially on nights when the hotel is fully booked.

Our room was so hot and the air conditioner wasn’t working. It made it impossible for us to sleep. Not a good way to set the family out for a day of sight seeing, so it made our day pretty rough.
