A very enjoyable experience with Aman Ullah a lot of fun he is very friendly the way he approach the absolutely unbelievable.When see any gust he welcome everyone and thoroughly interesting activities to entertain the kids whilst the poolside was a relaxing atmosphere for me and my wife. The beach ⛱️ is amazing view very long beach.The swimming pool is very deep and large.I would like to recommend this hotel 5 Star service.Thak you Aman Ullah your hospitality and safety give us our children.👍👍👍👍

We went here with friends who has holidayed here when it had just opened. We had a 10. night holiday booked with BA we arrived the early hours of Sunday 9th of October. We unpacked went to bed after looking around room in daylight next morning I wasnt impressed, we had 1 b/towel so hubby went down and asked for another also we asked for extra coathangers as there were only 4 (for 2 people) ?? The towel s did appear but no coathangers on trying the shower the head from the shower only produced a trickle so we asked if someone could check it for us . The light in the bathroom was flickering when we looked in it this is what we saw (see 1st photo ) there were two lights one either side of the sink both full.of dead flies they fixed the flickering light but the the other light though working was still full of dead flies ???????? Long story short they never fixed the shower we gave up asking for it to be fixed and used the small head on the shower. The 2nd photo is the photo is the mess that greeted us on our bathroom floor when we returned to our room after our 3rd request for the shower to be fixed (at least we assumed)they were trying to fix the shower head ) why else would you leave s bathroom in that state 😡😡😡😡😡😡 It was 5.30 and we had dinner booked for 6.30 i went ballistic hubby thought i was blaming him he threw one of the white bath towels over it and to cease arguung about this awful room iI.didn't complain about the room after that I decided it was easier to just put up with it and keep.the peace I should have at the start of the holiday demanded to move rooms and it would have been a much nicer holiday. We had paid for two upgrades and this room was certainly not worth the price we paid. The hotel does have good points the staff are amazing resturant and bar staff are some of the best we have ever had rhe privilage of meeting. Shout out for Peter and the Pizza chef in the Italian we enjoyed your singing and they are fabulous people . Also shout out for Nushta in the lobby bar but there were too any lovely staff to.mention by name the staff are certainly a great asset to the hotel. We really used only the a la carte restaurants in the evening for dinner and they r amazing always managed to book.a table and we loved the Italian at lunchtime too. I dont do brekkie but hubby and our friends did . The main areas of the hotel are lovely and reasonably kept seats are stained quite badly in some places and do need upgrading . The weather was fab food was good staff amazing but the photos of our room speak for themselves. I should gave made a stand at the start of the holiday regarding the room but then again no 5 star hotel should have a room in this condition.

We stayed in the family Villa with pool view. The staff all around the hotel were amazing, assisting us at all times and making sure our stay was most comfortable. They have many pools situated at different locations around the hotel but the pool where we stayed has the coldest temperature which was perfect for this hot weather. You can hop on a buggy to get around or take a stroll to any place in the hotel. The beach is calm and perfect for a relaxing time. Their buffet breakfast and dinner was a wide variety and the food was excellent.

One of the best intercontinental hotels we have ever been too. Classy hotel and fantastic amenities. Shaheedah from Egypt did our checkin smoothly. Abdou helped with our bags. All the staff were well trained and took care of the guests. One thing that could be changed is someone should be attending at the checkin/check out counters to avoid annoying customers because no one could make out who was next in the queue. Food was amazing and the beach and pool awesome. Although in January when we went the sea water was too cold and very windy. So beach was difficult to swim in but the pool was temperature controlled. Great hotel and value for money. Also the pressure of the showers should be increased if possible. And better shampoo should be arranged too.

Nice place, but is far you need to bring your food or go to rak to buy

Seeing the recommendation of travel bloggers on Xiaohong, I chose to go on a weekend trip. It is a very beautiful tent hotel with many activities in the hotel. The breakfast is very good and very comfortable. If it is not time, it is best to stay for 2 nights!

The hotel is a bit old, many things are a bit old, the worst is the pillows, too bad, I slept for two days, my neck is stiff, the bedding is not worth the price of 2,000 a night, just a few hundred standards, the bathroom There is no water blocking. The whole bathroom floor is full of water. The safety hazard is too big and it is easy to slip. The 3 swimming pools in the whole hotel are okay. They are full of people during the day. This hotel is definitely the hotel with the most people affected by the epidemic. Many tourist groups, meals are included in the room rate, buffets, restaurants are too crowded, the market is the same. I won't come to live anymore. It's really bad, sorry for the price.

We have recently returned from the most wonderful break at the Double tree Hilton Hotel in Marjhan Island, our second time in this relaxing environment. We had a night flight from Bham and landed about 8am in Dubai, we had the complimentary hotel transport from and to the airport and i had emailed ahead of time to ensure this was secured. At check in we had to wait a couple of hours for a room, but we new this from our previous visit so had packed swim stuff in our hand luggage but after wandering around and grabbing some food this wasn’t a huge issue for us. There is a tax to pay on check in approx £60. We opted to stay in the bay view rooms, having been upgraded to these on our first visit we didn’t want to miss out on the spacious room and the wonderful views. I had emailed ahead requesting a higher floor and we were fortunate to be granted this with Ade our brilliant housekeeper looking after us. These rooms are incredible with a rainforest shower and huge bath. Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries are replaced daily, as are towels, robes are also available. With these rooms there is a separate dining room, with a huge buffet choice at every meal. There are themed nights of German and Asian foods but otherwise international - and plentiful, as a vegetarian i had many options. The service within the restaurant was unbelievable with glasses being topped up and service constantly. We would like to mention several staff who made our dining experience - Maisie who makes the most lovely omelettes and listens when you say ‘well cooked’, Sailu and Ganesh went above and beyond with refreshments and Tim who checked at each meal that we had what we needed. There is a traffic light system advising when there are the busiest and quieter times. We ate breakfast at the Meze restaurant several times as this alternative was included too. There is the option to eat at the speciality restaurants with a deduction 60AED per person at each meal. We ate at The Anchor a couple of times and would definitely recommend the food, and the lunchtime buffet at the brasserie was plentiful and all included - there are so many food options. We sunbathed on the beach most days and beach towels can be obtained daily. Sun loungers and umberella’s were plentiful, we did secure our early as we are early risers enjoying the quietness of the morning. The beach is heavenly and the sea is beautiful. We purchased an inflatable from the site shop which cost approximately £35. Seems a lot but well worth the money as we opted for the one that allows the body to float in the water whilst supported, this enabled us to remain cool in the heat and lie in the sea reading and relaxing. We took towel pegs but these aren’t really needed as not windy. Worth taking goggles and the sea is crystal clear and fish are visible. One recommendation is to take a walk outside of the hotel. What an amazing experience! In this review I’m only talking about things we did. There is plenty more we couldn’t do as we only stayed 2 nights. First let’s cover the resort: The resort itself is very luxurious and massive. The villas are huge (we stayed in the Al Rimal Villa)! Having your own pool (very private, no one can see you) is so nice, especially if you have kids who are in there constantly. We were two adults with 2 kids, 12 and 2. There are several restaurants but only 1 is open for breakfast and lunch (can be increased in my opinion, especially the farmhouse should be added). Unfortunately several things are only happening on weekends so try to include the weekend to be able to experience all the offerings. To get around the resort, you can either use the bicycles or the buggy. As we stayed in June, we used the buggy mainly as it’s super hot throughout the day. However, we did cycle in the evenings and during the day a couple of times. There are wild animals all over the resort. They just come and go as they please. Everything feels very authentic and true to its surroundings. Nothing is staged. If you like to see Camels and Onyx close up on your way to lunch or in the evening when cycling back to your room, you will love this place! Let’s look at the Restaurants. Farmhouse - this is a great restaurant right at a waterhole which is beautiful in the evening and a place where a lot of animals gather. The food, drinks and staff were great. This was our favourite restaurant. However, only open for dinner. Shame! Kheela - this is the only restaurant for breakfast and lunch. It’s nice with an Arabic vibe. The food is good (not amazing). The one thing that makes this place very special is the staff. They are sooo friendly and helpful. They loved playing with our little toddler Max. They truly made the experience special for us. I’d like to call some of them out by Name: Wandy, Hemal, Sujala and Susmila. I only put those down as they written their name on my partner’s birthday card but all of them were amazing. In terms of activities: We did the nature drive and camel sunset ride. Both are amazing! During the nature drive you get a real feel for the desert, it’s animals and plants. If you are lucky, you get to hand feed the gazelles. The ride itself is very intense with lots of up and down and many many bumps, so not suitable for small children in our opinion. The Guide, Martin, was great! I can highly recommend him. We also did the rainforest experience which is very lovely. We recommend at least 2 hours. Overall, this place is absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every bit of it! It’s also super kid friendly so highly recommended for families. The staff make this place truly special and add to the the overall experience. We can’t thank all of the staff enough for taking such good care of us.
