In a small, relatively underdeveloped town, this hotel is surprisingly grand and meets big-city standards. It's luxurious and imposing, and the front desk staff spoke excellent English, always with a sweet, welcoming smile. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the Indian Ocean from the window was truly delightful. The breakfast downstairs was also quite good – a rare find, as it's generally hard to find options catering to Chinese tastes in this local area.

The hotel was clean, and staff were attentive and welcoming. The room itself was good, however a bit smaller than expected. The disappointment was with the view. The description stated sea view. But there was no sea to view. It was quite a bad view, probably the worst of the hotel.

Check-in took a little while, but the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and clean, though amenities weren't in the room and had to be requested. Hopefully, I'll stay here again on my next trip to Bengkulu.
