Sitting at the top of Positano, basically the furthest you can go - from the pier. Take the bus up there or get your luggage delivered by porters if you're trying to hike all the way up there from the pier - it's a LONG and hard hike. Decent stay, good service from concierge who answered our questions well.

The hotel is wonderful. The room was spacious and clean. There was a swimming pool with a relaxation area on site, but you need to book your visit in advance at the reception (it’s free). Breakfast is very varied and delicious. The hotel itself is located 5 minutes from the pier and promenade. Great option!

Decent hotel. The normal room is a bit small. The location is very central next to restaurants available. The staff is very warm and attentive. A bit old-fashioned charm for those who appreciate. The main problem is parking. All the public places are paying (1 euro per hour) and almost all occupied even in winter or you pay 20 euros per day at the hotel. The lunch buffet is extensive and good. The common (dining room) unheated at the end of February, in any case that was my impression.

Minori is a lovely little town with plenty of bars and restaurants. The harbour is within walking distance of the hotel and it is easy to book the ferry to other areas. We were very disappointed with the hotel however. The public rooms are good. Our bedroom was both noisy and situated on a corner overlooking a narrow street. It had wooden shutters which were permanently closed so no natural light. Whilst the dining room was large and well set out, it stopped there. The waiters were extremely rude and ignored us. Trying to get their attention was a work of art. Two of our party never got their dessert on one evening and we just gave up. The food served was not that of a 4 star hotel, poor quality and lacked imagination and served by scowling waiters. Plates were virtually cleared before you had finished! A shame because this hotel could be an ideal base for touring the Amalfi coast. I cannot recommend staying there.

The location is great for access to the town and coast. The hotel itself is quaint but sadly lacks on so many fronts. The hotel is mostly run by men who are rude and unhelpful. The breakfast tea is cold, the fruit bad and the hot breakfast option is not an option. The rooms are clean and practical although noisy next to the street and the air conditioning can’t cope. We were glad it was May we visited and not mid summer. It’s so sad that with the right management and investment it could be what it looks in the photos and we were not alone in our disappointment. We will be returning to the Amalfi coast but sadly will not be returning to Villa Romana.

O hotel é muito lindo e bem localizado. Os funcionários na recepção foram muito prestativos e sempre prontos a nos ajudar. O quarto tinha um bom tamanho. O banheiro bonito com banheira. Tudo muito limpo. O café da manhã é completo, muito bom, com muita variedade. Além de ser servido num ambiente lindo, com plantas no telhado de vidro. Só utilizei os serviços de hotel, então não posso avaliar o SPA. Tem todo tipo de comércio por perto (mercado, lojas diversas, lavanderia, restaurantes). Nos hospedamos em Minori devido aos altos custos para ficar em Positano. Mas foi muito fácil (rápido e barato) visitar a Costa Amalfitana por barco. Na rua do hotel (na esquina com a avenida) tem a Confeitaria Sal de Riso que foram os melhores doces que já comi na minha vida.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa meravigliosa struttura per due notti, e la nostra esperienza è stata assolutamente positiva.. Collocata nel centro di Minori in un'ottima posizione, a soli pochissimi minuti a piedi dalla fermata dell'autobus (con il quale ci siamo spostati per il nostro tour della costiera amalfitana) e immediatamente di fronte a ottimi ristoranti e/o pizzerie. Camera molto curata, pulita e comoda, con terrazza di cui ci siamo perdutamente innamorati. Colazione molto apprezzata, in una sala a dir poco fantastica. Abbiamo usufruito del servizio parcheggio, che si è rivelato molto comodo e ben organizzato. Se la Costiera ci è rimasta nel cuore il merito è anche di questo Hotel.. Rossano & Gioia

Minori is a tiny town, and here you have only 200 m to the beach. There is only valet parking (20 € per day), reception is fine. There is a small outdoor area with pool and sunbeds. Sunbeds cannot be changed in position - so this is very odd! Rooms and bathrooms are fine - but no seaview. Breakfast is buffet style - and fine. But my water for tea was in no way hot....
