Our friends restored an historic 12th century villa in the enchanting village of Ravello. Tucked between narrow cobblestones with sweeping coastal views, this hidden paradise offers the authentic Italian experience that has been diminished in so many places due to rampant tourism along the Amalfi Coast. Yesterday’s experience felt like the Amalfi Coast I fell in love with over a decade ago. Personal connection, impeccable service, unadulterated, seasonal dishes to die for. Peace and quiet☺️Better than Five Stars = Seven Stars + 💯💓

We found this amazing restaurant with outstanding food by accident. It certainly is a hidden gem if you are in Ravello. We had a two course meal with lots of added value. Don’t miss out it certainly won’t disappoint. Very much value for money.

Lovely historic property with a terrific staff, great breakfast (included) and a great bar overlooking the coast. Ravello is beautiful and quieter than the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Our room (especially the floor) could have been cleaner and the AC does not work well. Very comfortable room. Cabs are VERY expensive and the drive is long to get anywhere outside of Ravello. Lots to see in Ravello though.

A magical, timeless place, a special setting for our wedding. In addition to being a place protected by fine arts, the lady who runs it has made it a true jewel: Hospitality, beauty, attention to the smallest detail and good food. Every time we felt pampered.

We were so pleased with our choice to stay at Palazzo Confalone. Tucked into a flower-trimmed alleyway in Ravello, the hotel offered multiple levels of stunning views, and above and beyond service. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting with Antonella, who generously shared her extensive knowledge of Amalfi Coast wines. Each and every member of the team made us feel like VIPs. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone we know.

5 star hotel but in my opinion not worth 5. I would give it a 4. Luckily we had a great dinner at their restaurant. So perfect dinner; with really helpful and welcoming waiters Mattia and Pietro. However, I was disappointed by the trea**ent at the reception and by the restaurant manager. In fact, the reception was not very hospitable, and the restaurant manager was not very inclusive in explaining the menus and not very sociable. Furthermore, given that it is a 5 star hotel they should have make-up remover kits for women - kits with toothpaste... but they had nothing, so much so that I slept without being able to remove my make-up. (I was in this hotel as a surprise). Rooms outside the hotel, not great. In fact they were just very modern, but had little luxury. They looked more like well-renovated and redone apar**ents. But not 5 star rooms. So it wasn't entirely comfortable to be 5 star. I recommend it for dinner, yes, but not for staying over.
