Hotels Near Tamo Museo del Mosaico in Ravenna

· The hotel was located in the center of the old city and gave easy access to all we wanted to see. From a historical perspective, the hotel is situated directly opposite to all things pertaining to Dante; his house, tomb and museum. Of course there is so much more to been seen around the hotel too. We booked a Deluxe Suite which was essentially a 2 bedroomed apartment with kitchenette and dining area. It was all spotlessly clean and a great sense of generosity by means of the utensils, equipment provided. It was obviously well thought out to ensure that 'at home ' feeling which we felt immediately. The full sized fridge was generously stocked with the essentials of milk, fruit juice, butter and bottled water to get us started. The complementary breakfast consisted of a selection of cereals, cakes, biscuits crackers and dried fruit and some fresh fruit too. The manager even bought us a special Ravenna cake for us. The bedrooms were large with high ceilings and the entire apartment had a feeling of the romantic age of the city. However, as the hotel is situated in a pedestrian area with a few restaurants that had tables onto the street below us, it was a little noisy at night. It didn't bother us. In fact I enjoyed going to sleep listing to the clang of wine glasses and the sound of the melodic Italian language as people enjoyed the freedom to share once again. Being non meat eaters, we found excellent vegetarian and vegan restaurants within walking distance which was a real bonus for us. In all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Reunion Hotel and have already planned our return visit.

This is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet and there is excellent wifi connectivity. The building is organised around a shady courtyard and is full of fascinating antiques and art. You are only c. 10 minutes walk from the station, a huge choice of places to eat and shop and also most of the main UNESCO sites - which are simply wonderful. At breakfast there is a wide choice of food and great coffee. Our hosts were very friendly, extremely helpful and made us welcome. I truly can't think of any negatives. We will certainly stay there again.

The B&B Hotel is in a residential area of Ravenna, 5 minutes to the centre of the city by bus or a 30 minute walk. There is a large free car park. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small bathroom, all modern and functional. The compact buffet breakfast area was well organised with a reasonable supply of cereals, cold meat, cheese etc. and self-serve tea and coffee from a machine. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Beer and soft drinks were available from a vending machine. Several family restaurants and cafes were within walking distance.

This hotel is not in town, where all the site seeing, it’s 15 minutes drive and was no issue for me because I had a rental car. It’s in a relaxed area, looking over kids park. It has a shuttle van , but pricey. Helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and generous breakfast, did I mention quality coffee. There is no gym. I like this hotel. C U Around

Di passaggio per un evento a Ravenna ho cercato un hotel con parcheggio, perchè non mi andava di lasciare la vettura in strada. Ho così optato per questo hotel situato appena fuori città. Proprio adiacente alla basilica di S.Apollinare in Classe. Dall esterno, a prima vista, sembra solo un ristorante/pizzeria ma... Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dal calore e dalla gentilezza tipici di queste zone. Caratteristiche estese a tutto il personale. L albergo è piccolo, dispone di sole 10 camere e due suites, ma è molto curato e, sopratutto, pulitissimo. Per accedere alle camere si passa da una porta a vetri comandabile con chiave elettronica della camera e salendo una comoda scala. Non presente l ascensore. La nostra camera era una matrimoniale classica, non grandissima, ben insonorizzata,con pavimento in ceramica (no moquette) col suo piccolo bagno, ben curato, con rubinetteria in ottone anticato. Letto matrimoniale, comodo, cuscini bassi ma raddoppiabili, armadio a muro, minibar, tv, e impianto di climatizzazione autonomo. La colazione è tipica a buffet con dolci fatti in casa davvero ottimi. Anche le cene sono state ottime anche se il cuoco e stato un po' abbondante col sale, ma il tutto è passato in secondo piano grazie alla simpatia e cortesia della Sig.a Angela che ha fatto del sorriso un plus fondamentale nel suo lavoro che svolge con passione. Nel complesso una ottima soluzione sia residenziale che gastronomica, a prezzi accessibili, condita da gentilezza, simpatia ed accoglienza. Consigliatissimo

Structure that dominates the road that leads to the long sea,so in the summer season,been the people who stay therein,in the same there are small butterfly and some restaurants,apotheke,pizzeria,supermarket,all at hand, With the super Ostery Moriconi two steps,I stayed for more than a month for work,and I was very good,with all the comforts at hand,abundant breakfast,availability by staff,swallow with billiards and football dance with open-angle bar, I strongly advise you . !!

We stayed here for 1 night before our cruise. Room was a really good size with balcony. Breakfast was fab! Fresh pastries / croissants etc, yogurt, fruit, breads, cereals, granola, biscuits, ham, cheese, eggs. There were options for everyone. This hotel is not double glazed so you could hear outside cars passing down the road and your neighbours when they spoke! Loved the walk to the beach which was opposite the hotel. Through a pine forest. It was beautiful. The beach area is amazing! Pure sand with kids play areas and lots of bars / restaurants. This hotel is ideal for families with young children as it had a great soft play area for the kids. The park looked great but was roped off so we couldn’t use it unfortunately. There were a few kids bikes, scooters & ride ons for the kids to use outside. A few arcade type games and pool table inside. Bikes to borrow. Swimming pool area needed a clean up, not sure if this was because it was beginning of the summer season. Furniture was unclean and needed to be washed down, patio needed sweeping. The water was cold. The kids still had a dip!

We had our wedding at the Convento in September. Not only was it a beautiful setting and an ideal location close to several bars and restaurants, but Fulvia and Paolo were so helpful and hospitable we felt as if we were staying with family. We hired all the rooms for our guests arriving from the UK, and all of them reported comfortable accommodation and an excellent nights sleep —my mother said the best she had slept in years! The Erbe Palustri room was an ideal bridal suite, and myself and the bridesmaids had lots of space to get ready on the big day. My family found all the themed rooms very beautiful and entertaining. The unique and historical setting of the Convento was an amazing setting for our wedding, and we are so glad we chose to have it there! There was plenty of space in the beautiful garden for everything we had planned. There were lots of beautiful spots to take photos. All our guests enjoyed a varied breakfast the next morning, and in particular enjoyed trying proper Italian coffee. Overall it was a perfect day for us, and a lovely stay for all our guests! We would highly recommend the Convento for stays or events in Bagnacavallo! Thank you again Fulvia and Paolo! ❤️
