Hotels Near United Malaysian Orchids Sdn Bhd in Rawang

It cost me RM133.20 for a night in a deluxe king bed room. This including breakfast. It sound good, yet there are some points that I personally don't appreciate. 1. Location. The way to the hotel is quite misleading, even with the help of Google Map and waze. I miss a few important junction. No roadsign put in place. There are lots of construction projects around the hotel. 2.poor car park. The condition of the car park is similar to a old building. Dirty and dim light. 3.room. the bed is clean and comfortable. However, the facilities is old and some switches doesn't work well. Wi-Fi is slow, I can't stream YouTube smoothly. I have to turn on my own data plan to avoid frustration. 4. I request for a iron and ironning board. The ironning board seems dirty and old (chocolate coloring on the cover). 5. No safe box in the room. I can't have my important thing in the room when I was out. 6. Breakfast is poor for a hotel standard. The food is at street level. Plates are cold and few selection of food. Local food like fried rice, Nasi lemak, porridge, fruit. Coffee and tea. I can have better standard at mamak stall/restautant outside. Not worth to include breakfast with the room. In general, I would not recommend this hotel. I book this place because my friends are living nearby (15mims drive radius) and easy to access to hotel after a late night activities in the town.

Was at this hotel for business trip for 2 nights and my review as follows: 1) Location: It is in the neighbourhood of Bandar Sri Damansara, not that difficult to locate using waze but the surrounding of the hotel is currently construction of the new MRT line. Having said that, despite the on-going constructions, roads remain clear and easy to drive. There is also proper indoor basement parking (few levels) and thankfully the parking are not tight. It was easy to turn and park. Not too far from the hotel, there is two huge coffee shop selling various hawker food and there is also a stretch of halal warung (within 1km drive). Grab food and food panda delivery service are also available and quite a lot of choices too. So, overall, i think the location is ok for this hotel. 2) Lobby and Check in Lobby is nice with high ceiling. Check in was fast and being a weekday, there was no queue at all. I like the fact they placed two containers of plain water and mango juice at the lobby. Guests can help themselves with those drinks whenever at lobby. Just some suggestion, maybe the hotel can put in few slices of lemon to the plain water container. This will look more classy in my opinion. 3) Room 1305 (Suite Room) Being Accorshotel member, I was upgraded to the Suite Room. It was spacious with living room. The mattress and pillows are very comfy especially with a layer of mattress topper. Bathroom is the usual Ibis concept. It was modern and nice with rainshower. Maybe my only comment is the frosted glass isnt really frosted as one can still see the shadow of the person inside very clearly. It may be akward if you are staying with a colleague. I suggest the hotel to put another layer of frosting for all twin rooms (as these rooms are usually for travellers who arent couple/business colleagues). Anyway, I did have a good sleep at this hotel. So the room are value for money. 4) Wifi Wifi is free and easy to connect. Speed is ok and consistent. 5) Buffet Breakfast Surprisingly for Ibis standard, the buffet breakfast is quite good. There are a lot of selections daily such as Nasi Lemak, noodles, chee cheong fun, porridge, cereals, salads, fruits, bread & pastries, western option like baked beans, sausages, samosa, dim sum, hash browns etc. They also offers egg station services. They also have coffee machine with selections including latte & cappucino. Quite impressive. For improvement, I think the noodle soup corner should be replaced with something else as it was not a popular choice or maybe the noodles are just not presented properly. I think just replaced it with mushroom soup would be better. The juices also are not chilled enough on my 2 times breakfast at the restaurant. I strongly suggest to put in few slices of lemon into the plain water container - it will be refreshing but most importantly, the drinks/juices should be chilled properly. If not, it wont taste good. Overall, having stayed at Ibis cheras, Ibis KLCC and Ibis Fraser Park

For a 4-Star hotel, the facilities and service are on par with other hotels in the region and the price is reasonable. The only setback was that after parking the car in the basement, I could not open the door acess to the hotel lift because I did not have the pin number that was required to open the door. Luckily a maintenance crew who was passing by helped me to open the door. When I qestioned the receptionist, I was told that we must call them to obtain the pin number and open the door. I feel this is quite absurd because it was not mentioned while I did the booking on the internet, nor was there any message from the hotel about this requirement.

It is very good location for dining and very clean and new hotel, price is reasonable will stay again

Great location, staffs are friendly except for the ones that change your bed sheets, doesn’t even bother to smile, other than that all is good

Very comfort and friendly staff. The process from check-in to check-out very smooth. Highly recommended. For sure will come again. Clean and tidy rooms. They have everything in the room i.e. coffee, tea, iron box, hair dryer, creamer and body lotion.

Mossaz Suites offers a comfortable and convenient stay for families. The well-maintained units are equipped with everything you need, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. The friendly staff were always helpful and accommodating. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Mossaz Suites to anyone looking for a family-friendly homestay.

Stay end may 2023. Hotel has past it glory day. Took family room 618. The king size bed and 2 single bed are separate by a sliding door. There is only a single toilet inside with standing shower, bathtub, basin area, toilet area separate. So need not wait for each other to finish their shower time. I think the staffs did the best in cleaning up the room. But some areas are really either spoilt or tore etc. Can be seen from the photos taken. Currently the hotel is under going renovation. Hopefully it can improve in the room lighting, spoilt areas and tore areas. Also the door knots from the outside seem to be falling apart liao. TV channels also limited for a so call 4-5 stars hotel. Therefore the 500 RM price tag for the family room is not worth it. This hotel is near the malls the curve, IPC and ikea, and kidzania. You can also use the MRT to go to other places. There is another hotel call royal chulan damasara. So be careful not to mix up the 2 hotels.

The room is clean, the staffs are friendly, the breakfast is okay, the view is stunning. However, due to school holiday, there are a lot of people. During check in, people queueing for the lifts. There are 4 lifts in total. But only 2 are working. We had to wait like almost 30mins for the lift. And our room is on level 34. With baby some more, we couldnt opt for going up by the stairs. It was really a bad experience. Because of that, we decided not to go anywhere around the compound (eventhough there are a lot of insta worthy spots) and stayed in our room till the next morning. The breakfast is limited. It’s not buffet. There are only a few options and some were even finished by the time we’re there. Mind you, it’s only 8.30 in the morning.

The hotel are amazing.. they have many choices of the theme room & many spot for ootd.. I book 2 rooms apartment but only have 1 bathroom.. overall I’m satisfying stay at arte by thomas chan..
