As I have breathing problems it was a challenge to be in a room without windows, but the staff was kind enough to ventilate it when I asked. On the first day I had a major issue, and they moved me to another room. Someone was smoking near the room I was in, absolutely suffocating and unacceptable as there are no windows. They give complimentary water (hot and cold) and sugar (white and brown). The cleaning wasn't impeccable, but it was decent. And it is very central and easy for connections. I definitely recommend Kamal's restaurant in front of the hotel and going for a day to Avebury village and stone circle!

The room was small and compact, perfect for a one- or two-night stay. It’s close to the shops, a 20-minute walk to the town centre, and just a 5-minute walk from the train station.

It was good staying, short walking, great location and a nice welcoming. I had a comfortable double bed, clean room and bathroom. I will be back again if I needed.

There was black mould around the shower enclosure, unsure exactly what was on the room walls but wallpaper was a tad dirty, im not one to moan unless it is really bad and unfortunately on this occasion it was not

Clean and decent room for a one night stay, but very basic. No fridge/cup for water even in the room.

Tiny room, no kettle of glass Watch the parking charge. The only reason I booked it was it had parking No mention of a charge until I got there and another £12.50 added. I good have got a closer hotel with the total cost

Very good in terms of location, A nice little walk to the centre but far enough out that you don’t really get the noise of the late night drinkers (sat/friday). The room was a decent size for what we paid, nice shower and bathroom small but good for the money we paid. However, the room was really really hot. We had to sleep with both windows open, AC didn’t work at all. The TV has all the normal channels and it worked perfectly. The coffee machine area downstairs was helpful however they didnt give us any cups, put any available out for people to grab or tell us that they even had any. No tea bags or little things of milk which would have been helpful. The machine does make tea however we both werent sure how useful/good it would have been. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap stay in reading.

Cosy clean bed. Friendly staff. Good food takeaway shops nearby. Ensuite bathroom. However, Very small room with no table available.

I’ve stayed there twice in the space of just over a week. It’s in a good location for shops n things to eat. A nice big park near for a relaxing walk.
