All in all a good stay. The property is getting a bit dated and could use some new mattresses.

Watch out bigger chain hotels. Microtel may seem "small" in its title but it provided a great sleep environment with a smaller pricetag. There is also a pool with a slide and an excercise room Easy access on Gasoline Alley and next to a restaurant and lovely walking trail . The hot breakfast had variety to satisfy any diet and appetite.

Long hair in pillow case and towels are like sandpaper .. heater was Noisey .. terrible beds .. coffee at breakfast was good

We stayed in microtel for 3 weeks and we didn’t have any issues with the place, Cynthia the manager was very nice and gave us a great deal on our stay , Marga & Angelic were very helpful, friendly and approachable during our stay there as well as the rest of the staff in the front desk, they always respond to our requests and questions right away, and always made sure that we are comfortable, The place is always clean and they have a pool with a fantastic slide that you will going to enjoy, kitchen staff were also friendly and helpful especially, Wina, Vella and Noeme. Kudos to all the staff in Microtel for making our stay wonderful! We will surely recommend it to our families and friends.

I always stay here when I am working in Red Deer. The staff are great, the rooms are modern and clean, and it is close to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Microtel Red Deer.

Two tables and one counter area , there were a few people who come down for breakfast and waited for awhile but could not get a seat due to the kids all there and a few parents who were done but just stayed and drank coffee while others were waiting! Should have more space even if it’s a club room separate just not enough space

Really enjoyed the pool with its water slide, hot tub and swimming pool combination. Check-in was quick and straightforward. We got a room right beside the pool; which worked well with kids and a small pup. The breakfast had eggs, bacon, pancakes, yoghurt, breads, fruit and juice; simply delicious . We would stay again.
