The hotel is lovely however it costs £10 a night to park.
When I arrived they said that they had cancelled my booking and there wasn’t a room for me. They said they’d contacted trip.com but I’d received no details. After 30 minutes of stressful debate they gave me someone else’s room so I’m sure someone else had to go through the same stress.

Very happy with my stay at this hotel. I’d seen a few negative reviews prior to arrival but I must say it exceeded my expectations. Excellent location to where we needed to go, the staff were very helpful and friendly the room was excellent and spacious and would definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay at London Chigwell Prince RegentLovely hotel, had a comfortable stay. Ipek at the front desk was warm and friendly from the time we arrived till we left. The same applies to the other staff we encountered while there. Hotel's good points: - friendly staff - clean room and very clean bathroom - decent breakfast - massive HDMI TV improvement areas: - room floors were quite creaky - no fridge. It would have been nice for such a big room we stayed in to have had one. - rooms and windows not noise-proof. Conversations of people within the premises were easily heard in my room

We had a great time. Lots of palatial gardens we got to enjoy as this was officially the start of summer. We will be back again and again.

What an awful hotel. Booked a double room through a business account. Was given a cupboard of a room with a horrible smell of fly spray. The bed has been moved 180 degrees so the bedside light is on the opposite wall to the bed, nowhere near where it should be. No wardrobe, just 3 hangers above the tea tray....good for steaming the clothes I guess. I asked to change rooms and was told they had my booking as a single room, I had to dig out my email and prove id booked a double, only to be told the hotel was full. Manager constantly on the phone fielding complaints about the noise Breakfast, hope you're not in a hurry as only one coffee machine working and the coffee dribbles out. I asked the waitress who told me they know about the slow pouring but can't get it fixed. Had to ask for a plate as there was none out. The lifts are weird, you have to get one to the first floor then track along a Corridor to get a different lift to the third floor, hope you don't have lots of luggage!

Harvey was superb on the bar, served me and was so polite. Food was amazing 10/10 . I had a penne carbanara and it was absolutely delicious, I had a few drinks during the Europa League final which was on the TV and Harvey consistently was attentive to me and everyone else around. Thank you Harvey for your service

Stayed at the hotel for a night. Good food and had a good sleep as well. I stayed in the newly refurbished room. The staff were very helpful and attentive in the restaurant. Overall a good stay and will be staying again if in the area. The menu prices were on the higher side though.
