Proximity Waterfront Apartments

We stayed over Easter long weekend, we never saw anyone at reception the whole time we were there so we couldn’t ask for anything (eg extra towels). One of the lifts was out of service so in busier times the wait for a lift was very long. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly.

Great location to the beach and Redcliffe market. Clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Well fitted kitchen. Definitely will come back again.

I took mum for a trip to redcliffe we stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment we had everything we needed and more the apartment was lovely so close to the main street and the pier parking was so easy and secure The staff at the reception were so helpful we will definitely be staying again

Although the personnel was friendly and the cleanliness was above average, we discovered cockroaches at night. Fridge was not cold enough for the food.

Redcliffe is lovely and the markets are great if you can get there for those. Don’t bother staying at the apartment if you are on the first floor - view is terrible and blocked. Nothing like the photos. Storage excellent in apartment and it is large with air conditioning. Pull out sofa not usable to perhaps check that. Oven dirty but otherwise clean. Good kitchen.

Our 3rd time staying in this fabulous location, apartment with exemplary customer service at all times. Nothing too much trouble. Great celebration for my husband's milestone birthday. Close to great restaurants, beach, cafes, general shopping, supermarket. We loved it yet again and will be back. Apartment immaculate and well presented.

This accommodation is spacious, modern, clean and comfortable in a great location on the esplanade at Redcliffe. Walking distance from several lovely beaches and supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Our experience was marred a bit by WiFi internet not working and the management not being interested in trying to fix it, so we had to buy local SIM cards for internet access, which was annoying. Two other small points; there is no coffee machine in the apartment, if you want proper coffee you can go downstairs to the cafe and get it but that ends up costing quite a lot, and it opens at 6am which is usually fine but I needed to be up at 5am one day so didn’t have decent coffee which is frankly disastrous for my cognitive function. A small pod machine would have made a big difference. Another point was that there is a well-equipped gym in the building but the equipment was rusty and poorly maintained. So in summary, really nice space in a great location but let down by some small (or large, depending on your perspective) things like no working internet, no coffee machine and rusty gym. If those things aren’t important to you then it’s 5*. If they are important, more like 3-3.5*.

We booked an ocean front room hoping we’d have some open, reasonably sweeping views (like many taken by other reviewers). However our first floor room (the same price as those on higher floors) has a view very much impinged upon by surrounding roofs, exhaust fans, etc. There is an excellent view of the back wall of the RSL! It’s disappointing and not worth the extra money paid. It’s our second visit here but will be our last I’m afraid. I would advise the operators of these apartments to offer these lower rooms at a discount, providing people a transparent option to choose these rooms, or higher placed ones. I felt somewhat deceived, opting and paying for one thing but receiving something quite a lot less appealing.
