I honestly couldn't run quick enough to leave a review for Old Rectory House following our Wedding on Sunday 5th May 2024. Throughout the entire planning process, they could not help enough - Ellie was always an email away and was absolutely amazing in helping us plan our dream day - no request seemed too much (and there were a couple of odd ones on our end) and she took as much stress off our shoulders as she could - thank you Ellie!!! On the day, we had Lisa running around and organising how the day ran and all of our guests - again, I didn't have to feel nervous about anything, she was amazing and absolutely on it throughout the day - I could tell she wanted everything to be as perfect as we did - thank you Lisa, you were amazing! Between the two of them, despite the amount of work they did, they didn't feel like 'wedding venue staff' it was almost like they were part of wedding party, and we loved that! Obviously, all of the staff at Old Rectory House were incredible throughout the event and also deserve an immense amount of praise. Thanks all of you - it was a perfect day that we will never forget and it would not have been possible without you. ❤️

I stayed here for one night on a work trip. The lady checking me in was very welcoming and actually took me to the room. The rooms were clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. There was a lovely continental box provided for breakfast and a mini fridge in the hallway with juice, milk and yoghurt which was a lovely extra touch. Would recommend staying here, the grounds are beautiful.

Massive thanks to the team at the Old Rectory House - where we held a family party/ celebration on Friday night- in the Orangery. A great night was had by all. Beautiful, classy location. Fab food and amazing team - who were really welcoming and helped us make sure it was such a great night.

We stayed here last weekend, everything was amazing from the minute we got there!! Lisa was fantastic and friendly, she even moved us to a nicer room, much appreciated, had all the amenities you could wish for, bed was lovely and comfortable, had a couple of drinks in the bar before we headed out for a meal! Stayed on the Sunday for a roast which was amazing, the chef and Lisa were super helpful with all of my partners questions 😂😂, thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back!!!

We booked The Old Rectory for my Stepdads wake. We had the Lavender room and catering. Ellie who helped us with the booking was extremely prompt and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for her. The wake was a lovely send off and the staff were helpful but also very respectful. Beautiful setting, great service and good price. Would definitely use again for future events. Thank you so much for making a difficult day easier.

A hidden gem. Beautiful building set in idillic grounds. Service was second to none and the food was incredible. I highly recommend this establishment. Relaxed environment, a great a**osphere and friendly helpful staff. Lisa, Sarah and the team work hard to make your visit a special occasion. The Orangery is a magical room to spend and enjoy your time in a light bright setting with wonderful views. 5 stars

I wanted to take the immediate family to celebrate my wife’s retirement and knew this would be the right place for it. We had celebrated our daughter’s wedding at the venue the previous year and couldn’t fault it . The meal as expected was delicious and Lisa and her team made the occasion with their attention and service. We were even given a tour of the newly refurbished rooms which have been completed to a very high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend booking a meal or event at The Old Rectory House in the future. Thanks for making my wife’s day one to remember.

The Old Rectory House is an absolute gem. The decor is beautiful and the rooms are spotless. It is very quiet, the perfect place to relax. We were delighted when we arrived, our room was upgraded to the Willow Suite. Such a beautiful, comfortable and calming room. The bar is a fabulous place to enjoy a drink. We had a three course meal from their new pop up restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Very accommodating with lots of gluten free options. Lisa was very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my gluten free breakfast was perfect. We will certainly be visiting again.
