I booked a room for my mother at very short notice. The staff made her feel comfortable and welcome even though she was alone. Accommodated me having a delivery to the hotel etc. Excellent, couldn't thank the hotel enough.

Pleasantly situated in woodland area with big car park. Room OK but no lift. Bathroom layout not good and the bath very narrow. Room service odd with big container of cleaning materials left in bedroom for 3 days. Great breakfast and evening meal mostly OK. Very expensive bar prices. A glass of cider and a small glass of wine was £17. Staff friendly and helpful but no one available to carry our suitcases down stairs on departure. Would not stay here again

The bed was so comfortable and the whole experience from the room, the food, the Spa and the leisure facilities were just fantastic. You made our 25th Anniversary very special.

The staff are extremely friendly and can’t help you enough. Anytime you need anything they will help.
When you’re on business doing lots of hours it is so good to know they’re there if you need them.

Quirky and individual hotel with beautiful touches which set it aside from your usual hotel. Decor had a feel of Downton Abbey splendour about it and the staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. A very wide and extensive range of food and drinks available on the menu. Had the afternoon sparkling tea which was divine! and had use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi onsite. Such a rare gem in the heart of Cornwall. We will be booking again very soon.

Nice medium sized hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner also very good. Room comfortable although lots of bathroom related noises at various times and poor shower (Luke warm at best).
