Portreath Arms

Nice room, superb food, good beer. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep - this is an old building! Nicely refurbished, helpful staff. Very good menu using local produce where feasible. We would definitely be happy to return. Definitely good value for money.

The hotel room was very comfortable great bathroom with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very good quality ingredients. All the staff were polite and friendly very nice stay and we would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Hotel, set in a lovely little village in Cornwall. The staff are friendly, the hotel and restaurant are tastefully decorated. The welcome is warm and the staff cannot do enough for you. There is a great selection on the menu. The breakfast is probably the best I have had. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach and there is a lovely open garden area which is a real sun trap in the summer.

We loved the breakfast menu that was included in the room price. The rooms had an old county cottage feel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

All aspects of my two-night stay at this inn exceeded my expectations. My room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The comfy bed and big bathtub were very welcome after long hikes and walks on chilly, wet days. The breakfasts included a cereal bar and some tasty choices from a menu. Other meals at the restaurant included pub fare, local specialties and vegetarian options. Every meal I had was delicious. What sets this inn apart is the people. The service was excellent. Every staff member I had the pleasure of meeting was a warm and gracious host. And Nicole, thanks for the ride!

Stayed for one night and would definitely stay again

Very friendly staff . Room clean and facilities good . Breakfast was delicious with large range of choice . We also ate dinner in their restaurant which was outstanding. We will definitely retun to The Portreath Arms again .

Rooms clean and lovely. Was mix up with being booked with dog into room for no dogs but they were able to make switch with other room so all ok in the end.
