A step back in time but clean, quiet and Tom on reception was very accommodating. TV worked, Netflix. Food delivered as the restaurant wasn't open. Perfect one night pit stop. 24 hour reception and a bar. Get what you pay for and I have no complaints. Oh, the room had a balcony too! Perfect if you smoke.

Very dated and run-down hotel. Wall heater in room broken and replacement plug-in radiator not sufficient to heat room. Main lights in room extremely bright, but bedside lights tiny and totally inadequate for use (and one didn't work).A piece of door-frame fell on me when I opened door to rickety+dangerous-looking outside balcony.Balcony door couldn't be locked either so room was easily accessible from outside.All TVs have apparently been recently updated to streaming service only so no prospect of watching ordinary TV channels.Asked 3 members of staff to help register the TV to be able to log in to ITVX for example, so that I could at least watch ITV, but they didn't understand.Basin/bath and toilet were thankfully clean, as was bedding, but room generally grubby and bathroom floor dirty.I only paid £32 per night, but wouldn't recommend even at this price.

The hotel was very tired 40 rooms only 3 occupied. Our room was a deluxe. The mirror wardrobe door was broken and cracked. A floor tile in the bathroom was loose and broken and so was a trip hazard and could cause cut feet,. The light above the mirror in the bathroom didn't function and a ceiling light was also not functioning. One bedside reading light didn't work.
Only positive was the standard of breakfast and the waiter was very pleasant and helpful.

My booking was cancelled by the hotel the day before due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ leaving me in a difficult situation having to book another hotel last minute. As I was looking for another place to stay, I saw this same hotel available at double the price. So the hotel had cancelled my stay so that they could charge a higher price. I contacted the hotel to complain but got nowhere- terrible customer service avoid booking here!

This site should not be on your web site it is misrepresented it is really poor quality we had to leave ans couldn’t stay
Telephone number on your site for the hotel didn’t work and only managed to get through to Indian call centre

Cleanliness was at a minimum, certainly no deep clean anti CoVid in evidence. Trying to get hold of their self proclaimed excellent customer service was a nightmare, going through a whole automated procedure to get cut off...everytime...on a direct line number? Non of the TV 's were working, I got told it was the one in my room that was faulty, yet talking to my work colleagues the next day, none of theirs were working either. One morning I was half dressed in my room and a member of staff just walked into my room. His excuse was he didn't kno anyone was in there. Another evening I returned to my room and the door was open...not just unlocked...it was open. I would have to be exceptional desperate to use this chain again. First and last time.
