Hyatt Centric Reims

Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the Reims Cathedral and town center, offering easy access to city attractions and public transport like the tram. Its proximity to the river adds a pleasant view from the restaurant's windows.

We booked this hotel on August 2, 2025 to arrive on September 29, 2025 for 4 nights. Luckily, my wife happened to be checking for places to go around the hotel a week before we were set to check in. It looked like the hotel was not open yet so my wife sent a message through Instagram, for which we never received a reply. On September 25, 2025 (4 days before checkin and 1 day before we were set to fly out to Paris), I called the hotel to see if they were open. I was told that it was not open to the public, but it should be open by the time we check in. Just to make sure, we emailed the hotel that night. On September 26, 2025, the day that my wife and I were set to fly to Paris and spend 2 nights before going to Reims, we received an email that they would not be able to check us in on September 29, 2025 and that they were looking for alternative arrangements for us. I spent over an hour trying to find out where they were trying to make arrangements for us, but did not get a response so I cancelled the reservation. By that time, all the other comparable hotels were SOLD OUT so we had to stay at much lesser rated hotel which was terrible.

We had a nice room (wheel chair accessible) with enough space around the bed. The bathroom was spacious. Walk to city Center is around 10 minutes. And parking is easy at the hotel. Breakfast was okay. Unfortunately the bar closes quite early.
