I have stayed 1 night in normandy hotel. It was my worse stay ever in a hotel in UK.
Rooms are so small you’ll stand from bed and hit the wall,
bed mattress are small sized and old, springs are bent from sides, if you lay in side you’ll feel like falling down,
No lighting on the ceiling just you will get two small bulbs on side of beds and a table lamp,
Everything seems to be broken or ages old
Lifts and corridors look like you are in a ******* hotel
And the best thing in the morning, Someone will start drilling the floor of one level above and you will feel like earthquake.
I was a nigh**are for me, my wife and 5month old baby to stay there.
I would never recommend anyone to in this sub standard place.

Tired in parts, but very clean hotel with exceptionally helpful and polite staff. Stayed for business trip and ate in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast. Food was fantastic, good range, tasty and well presented. The restaurant was packed with customers when we arrived for dinner which was a good sign. The hotel appears to be in the middle of a refurb right now - judging by other reviews - so I’d suggest asking for newer room when booking if that is important to you. I was in an older room which was perfectly adequate and very clean. Colleague had a new room, and our room prices were the same so it really is the luck of the draw. The Normandy was great value for money, very handy for the airport, and I will stay there again.

Stayed for 2 nights, no do not disturb/service sign, asked for one and didn’t get, so room was not serviced, lights broken in room, bathroom toilet lid broken, not a good stay this time

Very well situated for Glasgow airport with parking. Busy hotel, Staff very friendly, our room was spotless, bed very comfy. We will definitely return. Our dinner in the restaurant was superb! Piping hot and so tasty! Would definitely recommend it.

Stayed overnight here for a tribute night with a friend. Our room was on the 1st floor. A lovely compact and clean room. Wonderful attentive staff on reception and security were also very friendly. Would definitely visit again in the future.

My Husband and I go to the hotel every time that we go to Scotland its the best hotel in the area (and we have been to a few) They have refurbished the rooms which are brilliant they are spotless cannot fault the rooms at all. The staff are most welcoming and very helpful from housekeeping to front of house they are the best. Well done Normandy hotel thank you for my experience didnt want to leave .

The pillows were very good and ewe got some sleep though we had to be up just before 02.00. Car parking was good though the receptionist said there was parking for disabled with blue badge which there wasn’t round the back. Meal was so so as my other half could not eat his as it was swimming in grease(fat). Mine was ok. Would stay again.
