Mel went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. The hotel is very impressive with great customer service. Everyone is very friendly. The hotel has a rooftop pool, gym and spa. Truly a gem of Reno! The car museum us across the street and get a discount to visit. Check out the new soul food place next door!

This is my 4th stay and the customer service has been amazing every time! Mel at valet in the mornings brings me a smile everyday and is so helpful! Amazing service! At the front desk, Ben was very nice and accommodating! Both Mel and Ben have had great recommendations for food options around the hotel. The restaurant hotel, The Shore, is delicious as well! Last stay we played bocce ball at the other restaurant. Thank you Renaissance for always a nice stay!

Mel was Outstanding and a Gentleman !!! Daniel and Niko were also incredibly kind and wonderful !!! The pool was very comfortable and the car museum is across the street Check out the new soul food place At the entrance there is always a car on loan from the museum

The valet person an African American but I forgot his name, was so kind to help me bring my bowling balls into the car on my way to the airport. 1st time staying here for a bowling tournament and business trip and got upgraded to the penthouse suite! Everything was nice in the hotel, the amenities, the bartenders, the front desk people and the person taking care of the exclusive lounge area. Will stay here again for my business trips and leisure trips!

The food was very healthy the valet rafael was fast and friendly. I would recommend the restraunt the riverfront eating views and experience is a reno must. No smoking building was a plus. Hotel rooms are spacious, clean, convenient and modern.

It was a great experience. The room was very nice and the staff were all very cheerful and talkative, especially at the valet service. Had a wonderful conversation with Rafael and Mel! It was a pleasure getting to stay here. Will definitely be staying here in the future!

This is an older hotel that has had a renovation with a family centered entertainment place downstairs and a restaurant/bar on the river. We enjoyed lunch on the patio, food was great and about what I expected to pay for a hotel restaurant. The room itself was pretty basic and smelled like an old hotel. Unfortunately you’re not able to open the windows and I could never get the room down to 68 degrees. There were lots of young adolescents everywhere, taking joy rides in the elevator, at the pool, of course playing at the arcade with little to no adult supervision which was kind of annoying. Hotel is pet friendly and there are lots of pets but limited potty space outside which was not kept very clean. The front desk staff was friendly but didn’t seem very experienced in hospitality, only gave hotel recommendations for dining, said they would call to follow up on some questions but never did.

Love this hotel Stayed here few times for work & hope to get a longer stay next time Pool is nice, had amazing avocado toast to go at the restaurant & has a small coffee shop inside for convenience which I had before and from what I remember was good as well Cool fish on the ceiling Walkable to all the other bars, restaurants & shops. Right on the river Mel the bell man outside was vey nice & upbeat happy guy Gave me change & took my keycard I forgot to return to front desk to return for me Only Con is small gym but had food equipment

Mel’s the young man at the door was absolutely AMAZING ! He was warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the property and all of the amenities and things to do within and around the property. I travel monthly for Business and his customer service exceeded well beyond what I’ve experienced at other Marriott properties. Mel is a star employee who deserves recognition and appreciation! Thank you sir for all that you do to make us guest feel right at home!
