Great location close to both the beach, nightlife and the old town. Balcony with ocean view. Room was cleaned every day. Very friendly and professional staff. I would love to stay here again, they made my birthday vacation extra special!

Nice experience in this family hotel, very well run! Good conditions for the money and for a 3 stars hotel: confy beds, very good AC and wifi, elevator. Have to pay for the safe, 2 e/day. Pretty small bathroom, but ok for an economy room. Every day cleaning the room. Also, every day changing towels. Very close to the beach, around 200 m, and also close to the old center, about 500 m. The breakfast also good for a 3 stars hotel. I would go back for sure.

We stayed at Astali for 6 nights, and had a really nice stay! The staff at the hotel were so friendly and always willing to help when we had different questions. For example, they helped us planning trips to places around the island. The hotel is located close to the old town, and also the beach. You can walk to almost everything from the hotel. The bus station is also a 15 minutes walk away, if you want to explore some of the other villages and attractions nearby. The room had AC and a little fridge, which was nice in the heat. The cleaning was impeccable, for instance we got new towels every day. We would highly recommend this hotel in Rethymnon, and we would love to come back!

Vriendelijke uitbaters en personeel. Verzorgd hotel. Lekker ontbijt. Je kant binnen of buiten op terras eten. Minpunt zijn de kleine badkamers waar je niet met twee op kan. In de douche kan je amper bewegen. Bedden zijn behoorlijk. Er is 1 lift.

We have been coming for a month in this lovely hotel, run by the Kyrimakis family, for many years now. They do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. The hotel is super clean, has wonderful beds and a very good breakfast. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The location is also fantastic between the wide sandy beach and the old town, all in all a perfect place to explore Rethymno. Can't wait until next year.

The room we stayed in was a bit small, but it had comfortable beds. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was cleaned every day, and we also got fresh clean towels every single day! The bedsheets were changed also once. Now let's talk about the location. It is located between the old town and the beach, so you have everything close, you do not need to ride buses to get to the old town center nor to the beach. Everything is perfectly reachable by foot. There is a non-stop market across the road, a pharmacy, and coffee shops also.

Great position, in the heart of the city. The staff is really kind and helped us with any question or trouble. Good breakfast but would add more coffee variations (espresso, cappuccino etc :) )

We spent a great week at this nice family run hotel. We needed a central hotel as a base for our week as we mixing business and family holiday. Could not fault the hotel at all very clean, lovely breakfast and super friendly staff.

Astali hotel is in a great location just a minute's walk to the beach with shops and restaurants close by. The friendly staff make you feel very welcome and all speak good English. The rooms which have strong wi-fi signal and individual air conditioning are cleaned daily along with the towels and bed linen being changed and each room has a balcony. The floors can be accessed by lift so no need to walk up and down stairs. Breakfast which is served from 7.30 is continental with a good choice to please everyone and can be taken either inside or outside on the terrace bar area. The bus stop to travel west is right outside the hotel and due to the one-way road system, the bus stop to travel east is just one road up from Astali. I rate this hotel so highly that I stayed here in June and August this year.
