Room was comfortable however spoilt by a poor shower lukewarm water only. Hair dryer did not work.

Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful and went out of the normal way to help and support. Clean and large rooms, cosy bar and restaurant with very good and wide food selection. Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful countryside surrounding

The best roast dinner ever ! Meat fell apart !! Chef very friendly nothing was to much trouble Food very hot which is a must for me My friend and I had a lovely time Thanks lady chef . We have stayed here, on a few occasions whilst visiting family, Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean.The food was great there is a huge choice on the menu and the hotel is popular , although there is a restaurant separate from the bar where you can book a table. The grounds are well maintained with seating outside . However, the poor lonely duck on the pond needs a mate and the duck house needs repairing, we felt a bit sad for it. But once again a great stay.

We always have the loveliest meals here, the service is always incredible, the staff are always very helpful & attentive. The menu has something for everyone with lots of variety & very good size portions. Will definitely be returning soon.

Friendly pub/hotel. Only slight issue was the heating was turned off in the rooms until we arrived and then it took a long time to get warm.

A lovely property, nice room and hot shower, good bed. However the floor boards in my room made a noise every time I breathed and my room was very cold unfortunately which was shame because it could be a really good place with nice welcoming staff and great breakfast

What a lovely pub/hotel, I booked a room for my boyfriend and i, from the moment we arrived every thing was straight forward. Went into the bar to check in was shown to our room and found it very clean and comfortable. We had a meal that night all the staff was very attentive. Breakfast in the morning was great our server Dominic was so helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be back. Thank you

We booked a table of 8 to celebrate my friend's milestone birthday. The waiting staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful but were totally untrained in table service and menu knowledge. We had chosen the 3 course set menu for £17.95. One of our party had to wait an inordinate amount of time for her Stuffed Mushroom starter and there was no coherent explanation as to why. The fishcakes were cold. At this point one of our party was told her vegan choice was unavailable and the server needed to check what she could have instead which proved very confusing . For the main course several of us had ordered Sea Bass topped with a lime, chilli and coriander butter which proved virtually inedible. The rice was congealed and there was no evidence of the topping or accompanying vegetables or salad to give it colour. The two plates of Chicken Tikka Masala were presented with the server's thumbprint in the sauce. We had intended having a dessert but was told the chef had gone home at 9pm. At least we had a birthday cake to share. I asked to see the Manager who was off duty but came to speak to me nevertheless. He apologised profusely and explained this was not the standard he expected as a professional chef and that if we returned he would personally cook our food. He waived the cost of our dinner and gave the birthday girl a bottle of wine. The whole evening was totally disappointing and despite the Manager's assurances we will not be returning or recommending the venue.
