The owner is a Swiss aunt with many eccentricities. For example, bright lights are not allowed in the bar and lobby no matter day or night. When guests read the menu or drink list, they have to turn on the flashlight function of their mobile phone to see the words on the list clearly. Breakfast has already been paid for when booking a room in advance, but even boiled eggs have to be charged separately! I booked for a week, but after only 2 days, the aunt asked me to pay the bill, afraid that I would not have the money to live, it was too sick!

Absolutely amazing trip. From the staff to the rooms, everything was outstanding. The staff was so friendly (and all spoke English which was a huge plus) and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The spa was heaven after a long 8 hour flight. There is a huge jacuzzi, sensory shower (rain shower that has set music, temp and scents that go with each theme) and a steam room. You get private access to all of these for an hour, totally recommend after a travel day. The massage was the best I have ever had and I have traveled all over the world visiting spas. The hotel itself is just stunning and we never wanted to leave. There was not a detailed spared when they renovated the hotel. We rented a car and drove from CDG and spent 4 days visiting the most beautiful chateaus and wineries. The chateau was always so lovely to arrive back to and we ate dinner there every night. Highly suggest a drink of their patio overlooking the beautiful gardens. Breakfast room service is also a must!

Un séjour de rêve où l'on remonte dans le temps car le personnel est en tenue d'époque. Tout est fait pour rendre le séjour inoubliable, le personnel aux petits soins, les chambres vraiment magnifiques et confortables, les excellents repas, le SPA privatif en toute intimité et toutes les petites attentions. Un hôtel que je recommande vivement si l'on aime le luxe discret et l'Histoire. J'en avais rêvé et je n'ai pas été déçue.

Un lieu magnifique, tout est fait pour mettre le visiteur dans l'ambiance du Grand Siècle, jusqu'aux costumes du personnel. Nous avons apprécié la prise en compte de nos souhaits quant au repas et les petites attentions lors de notre séjour. La chambre était très bien chauffée, ce qui est rare dans les châteaux. Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux.

Une expérience Hors du Temps. Grand standing en matière de décoration et de mise en scène. Bar, Dîner, Spa de haut niveau. Y prendre son temps est une obligation ! A noté que l'ensemble du SPA est privatisé le temps des soins. Nous étions donc en famille sur l'ensemble des lieux. Le Repas en six temps et un balai d'une belle expérience. La sélection au verre est a retenir avec le conseil du sommelier. Le service et empreint d'une grande attention. A refaire.

This is a really special hotel. Most hotels have gone modern and non-descript. Not Ch Louise. It has been recently rebuilt and the owner has exquisite tastes! Every room is different. The attention to detail is amazing. The web site doesn’t do it justice They have great e bikes and my wife and i enjoyed riding to Amboise for lunch and back We are here in December - it would be even more glorious in the Spring or Fall

Had such a magical stay at Chateau Louise.
The rooms are gorgeous with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Lovely grounds to walk around and it’s generally just a beautiful area.
Amazing service from everyone who worked there. We had a warm welcome open arrival with champagne sat by the fire. Then again at dinner they were very attentive and knowledgeable.
We were lucky to go in the off season so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The only slight criticism I have is having an additional charge of 100 to bring your dog. Which I personally think is too high.
