Hotel in Laisen

A little remote, otherwise everything ok

It's not really my style to give such detailed reviews, but the hotel in Laisen simply lacks the most basic hotel basics. When I arrived on Monday, the reception was not manned. I heard voices in the attached restaurant and asked very politely whether they belonged to the hotel. A thin man with an immigrant background told me in an unfriendly manner that his restaurant was closed and that he didn't understand anything / had nothing to do with the hotel. So I went back to the reception and found a piece of paper with two numbers on it under another object. At first I couldn't get through to anyone, but after 2 minutes he called back. The man was very nice and gave me the key and explained that breakfast was in the restaurant next door. (So much for the statement that he had nothing to do with the hotel). When I got to my room, there was no toilet paper in the toilet and the trash can in the living area was still full of plastic packaging. I thought they would be OK since I had to be away for another 2 hours. When I returned to the hotel with my work colleague, the condition of my room was unchanged. I thought to myself, oh well, tomorrow is another day. By chance I had a roll in my travel bag. The air conditioning in the room had not convinced me or my colleague, we couldn't get our rooms cool and were forced to sleep with the window open on a street that was very busy even at night. In addition, the restaurant was open on Tuesday and it was even louder. Between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on two days I noticed a very strong ********* smell, or it came into my room because the windows were open. So not so great. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I still had no toilet paper, even though I had always put mine away. The trash can in the room was emptied and the bag was just placed on the edge so that I didn't get bored and could put it in myself. The wiring of the bathroom mirror, which is also a heater, was a disaster. The shower partition was also leaking, as mentioned in some comments, and the door was hanging. The beds are OK, but the mattress is very soft (a matter of taste) but it is annoying that the mattresses really move during the night. And from Wednesday onwards a cleaner was left in the bathroom, which was not removed by the staff until we left on Saturday. It is probably still there now! I don't want to comment on the breakfast in the attached restaurant, or rather just write briefly. There are better breakfasts, coffee and above all nicer staff at gas stations, period!!! Recently renovated hotel, without carpet on the floor, nice bathroom, quite spacious rooms and helpful and approachable staff. Unfortunately the cleanliness leaves something to be desired, air conditioning not working (very hot rooms), as well as the minibar inside the rooms, reception almost always unattended, poor breakfast. Very busy road in front of the hotel which annoys those sleeping on the street side. Value for money not good, for the service offered too expensive.

This fairly new but largely plain hotel is located in the Laisen industrial estate. The rooms are functional and have comfortable beds. There was also a large TV on the wall. Everything was really clean. There is a "Balkan Grill" downstairs on the ground floor. Breakfast is also served there (buffet). Overall, as the rating says, "satisfactory".

Never again! I was dissatisfied with my room, after complaining in the evening I came to the hotel, unfortunately they changed my room without my supervision and set up a storage room as a room for me! They packed my things themselves and brought them to the room! So that doesn't work at all! Instead of relaxing in the evening, I would have to get excited and look after my room!!

Had an overnight stay here. The room was OK in terms of size. But not very clean. The bathroom could also use a more intensive cleaning. The breakfast was very sp****. Everything was very unloving. Will probably avoid the hotel in the future
