Zimmer ok, Wellnessbereich gut, das 4 Gänge Menü am Abend war eher ernüchternd. Vorspeise gut, Erbsensuppe dünn und fad, Haupspeise… 5 kleine Kroketten ein kleines dünnes trockenes und hartes Stück Putensteak ( so groß wie die Hand eines 4 Jährigen Kindes ) maximal 80 Gramm. Keine Soße ! Dafür ein kleiner Zweig Rosmarin. Nachspeise ok. Auf die schlechte Qualität der Hauptspeise angesprochen, haben wir einen Expresso bekommen. Wir haben dann noch eine Döner auf der anderenStrassen Seite gegessen. Frühstück war maximal Basic. Ich würde die kleine Auszeit die wir für 225,00 Gebucht haben auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen

We stayed at the ”coeur de village alsace” for two nights, in a charming place and in a quiet and pleasant environment, about half an hour from Strasbourg and about 40 minutes from the Magino line. Sylvie's house is charming and beautifully decorated in a very warm, inviting and modern design. The house contains a small number of guest rooms, a living room seating area with TV, a balcony and a dining room. The rooms / suite with air conditioning, comfortable beds and a spacious and modern bathroom. Sylvie's service and hospitality is warm and pleasant and she does everything to make the guests' stay pleasant, attentive and gives an answer and assistance to any request. Highly highly recommend. We were absolutely happy to have found and stayed here. Although it seems like a retiree resort, the hotel is such an awesome place to spend some relaxing days here. The room is so spacious and come with a big balcony that faces the small pond and vineyard! Imagine waking up to such a view or enjoying sunset with it! The location is good as well. It’s so quiet, surrounded by wide hectares of vineyard. You can easily stroll around here enjoying quiet and relaxing time. It is also just a short 20mins drive to Baden-Baden city center. The breakfast was okay but I highly highly recommended to take their dinner package. The 3- or 4-course menu are superb! They change the menu everyday and the food is soooooo delicious! It’s definitely the highlight for us here! The staffs are also so friendly and warm. They make everyone comfortable and relaxed. We hope to come back again!

Hotel right on the edge of the main town and easily within walking distance. Hotel was clean and the standard you would expect from holiday Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful and almost all spoke English. Breakfast was continental buffet style and was okay. Would stay there again. Recommended

This is the largest space hotel I have stayed in Europe. I really left a very good impression in this beautiful town of Baden-Baden. The hotels that arrived at 6 in the morning are all early check-in. The corridor provides fruits and bread all day. It is convenient to walk everywhere. Although it is on the roadside, it is not noisy at all.

Not he customer is king in this hotel, but the General Manager and the Receptionist I arrived late night after 4 hours driving with an online check in made before looking forward to a good night sleep. But it went all different. The receptionist refused to check me in after makijg many mistakes like not informing me about the procedure reason, why despite online check in, I had again to fill in my details, gave me wthe wrong change (24 € to little) when paying. Once I made he receptionist aware, there was no apology but just a comment: „this can happen“. Once the receptionist realized that I was not happy with the service, she told me to leave the hotel and called the police to escort me out. Such a humiliating, frustrating and discrimination I have never experienced in my life after traveling he world and staying in so many hotels. On top, when coming back 2 days later to meet the General Manager, I experienced the devastating attitude since again: no apologies, just accusations, that the guiltily one is me as a customer. If you really have to stay in this hotel, I recommend: 1.) expect no service at all 2.) count carefully the change you receive 3.) don’t say anything, because if you do, the receptionist might not like what you say and will kick you out of the hotel 4.) Look before, what other hotels are in the region so that you are prepared for the unexpected But best is, try to avoid this hotel as long as the current management and employees are still working in this hotel

Stayed here for one night on the way back from a weekend in Switzerland. Room was OK, though would have preferred a bed with 2 mattresses rather than one big one. Evryhing was clean, reception was friendly and helpful. Just disppointing there was no restauarant due to covid and therefore no proper breakfast in house. The nice girl at reception recommended the Italian practically opposite, which was fine. But next time will not take a lunch packet for breakfast, as hate white toast bread!

We stay at hotel Engel for two nights…and wanted to stay more nights ! This is an amazing gem in Sasbachwalden, where you will receive friendly and attentive service from some amazing staff…a service rarely seen in Europe! (And we travel a lot). The food is really great, both breakfast and dinner, and can be highly recommended too. The building is pure german charm and our room was absolutely amazing with a nice terrasse. This is a must-vist gem and we will fore sure be back next year!
