Wir waren und sind sehr angetan, in welchem Maß das Hotel und sein Personal ihrem Anspruch für Behinderte einen barrierefreien Wohlfühl-Aufenthalt zu bieten gerecht wird. Ich möchte besonders die gute Personalausstattung hervorheben und das Personal war hervorragend geschult und ist in allen Bereichen sehr gut auf die unterschiedlichsten Bedürfnisse Behinderter eingegangen. Das war auch im Vergleich zu anderen Einrichtungen (auch Reha-Einrichtungen) herausragend. Man fühlte sich als Gast und sah in allen Bereichen, wofür die gezahlten Preise verwendet wurden. Wir hatten ei Premium-Doppelzimmer. Alle unsere zusätzlichen Wünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt.

Die Lage ist phantastisch, direkt am See, die Architektur gelungen. Das Hotel ist auf vorbildliche Weise nahezu vollständig barrierefrei und damit für Gäste mit Behinderungen/Einschränkungen ideal. Die überwiegende Mehrheit der Gäste kommt aus dieser Zielgruppe. Diese an sich sehr lobenswerte Ausstattung des Hauses geht allerdings auf Kosten der Atmosphäre, die eher an eine Reha-Klinik oder eine Senioren-Residenz erinnert. als ein 4-Sterne-Hotel. Es herrscht eine sterile Funktionalität und ein Regime à la Jugendherberge. Das Selbstbedienungsrestaurant schließt um 20:30 Uhr (!!). Die Bar hat sowieso geschlossen. Im Kaminzimmer gibt es keine Bedienung. Man empfahl uns, das zum Haus gehörende A-la-Carte-Restaurant zu besuchen. Das war jedoch an zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen durch geschlossene Gesellschaften belegt und für Hotelgäste nicht zugänglich. Geschlossen wurde dort übrigens bereits um 20 Uhr, also zu einer Zeit, zu der man normalerweise zum Abendessen erscheint.! Das WLAN ist chronisch instabil. Im Speisesaal hat man praktisch gar keinen Empfang mehr. Das alles ist eines Hotels unwürdig, das vier Sterne für sich in Anspruch nimmt. Wer auf Barrierefreiheit angewiesen ist, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Sonst aber niemand.
