Such a charming historical hotel and inn in lovely Rhinebeck, NY. The Tavern and restaurant were outstanding too! Most of all, we will remember the kindness and help of Nansi, behind the Front Desk, who went out of her way to see to our needs, when an unexpected emergency occurred!

Beautiful, historic, room was lovely, beds comfortable, unfortunately the WiFi and TV were not functioning. A lovely staff person tried to help but to no avail. Breakfast was good. Easy access to shops and dining.

Lovely historic Inn. The room and bath were spotless and very comfortable! Nansi, at the front desk, was super helpful at explaining my room charges, Julia, at the bar was so FRIENDLY, and Ryan was a champ for carrying my bags upstairs! Great stay with wonderful staff!

It's historic museum like quality. Preserved. Ease in which exploration of many historical items available for viewing. Cozy guest house,warm safe n quiet. A great night's sleep x 3. Meals in dinning room presented exquisite and a little pricey but very enjoyable. Everything within walking distance. Didn't like weather, it rained most of stay, but would come back again!

I was looking so forward to our stay at the Beekman Arms Inn. I had been planning our 19-day trip for months and this was the only hotel I had in mind in advance. This WONDERFUL hotel did not disappoint. In fact, I had tears in my eyes as I looked around the lovely colonial lobby and especially the tavern--from 1766!! George Washington probably dined and drank here and possibly even stayed in one of the rooms. How exciting! I requested a room in the original building, and the rep was able to secure it for us. Our room was so cozy and comfortable--with the wooden floor and very authentic ambiance. Oh my gosh--there was even complimentary sherry in a decanter with two wine glasses on the desk! How often do you find that wonderful surprise in a hotel room!? Also, Nansi checked us in, and when she realized how thrilled we were to be at the Beekman, she even loaned me a book to read about the hotel's history--even though we only stayed one night. She was so much fun! Being guests here was truly a highlight of our trip for me. I want to live in a place with this much colonial American history. It is beautiful! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, even if they LOVE colonial architecture or not.

Loved Nansi at checkin. She was so helpful and informative. The “campus” is lovely and our two rooms at Delamater were lovely. When we requested a fan it arrived very quickly. The beds are nice and firm. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Nansi was a sheer joy. The information she provided was very helpful and the hospitality was excellent. She advised us on local dining, shared the history of the buildings and Rhinebeck, and helped us with some hospitality needs. Super friendly, beautiful setting and firm beds.

When making my reservation I had called a number after searching for the hotel The person I spoke to was going to charge $120 more than the advertised cost of the room. I then called the hotel directly and spoke to Nansi. She was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She looked at the reservation and realized it was a mid week price and certainly didn’t charge us $120 extra in “hotel fees” Because of Nansi and our lovely stay at The Beekman Arms I will be sure to recommend it to friends and will definitely stay there for the next time. We’re in Rhinebeck.

While the room was lovely and the staff was attentive, the WiFi was poor to nonexistent, and the shower needed to be turned to C for cold in order to get hot water.
