A great space to rest, relax or date with a unique view of the Douro. The view is a must-see although GPS access is confusing, as is the entrance to the hotel - 2/3 couples were also trying to find the entrance.
The meal was wonderful and with style (it looks gourmet but is to be satisfied and with the refinement of a chef).
As for the jacuzzi and sauna we were a little disappointed. A jacuzzi with only 4 squirts for so many people is not enough.
The bed was also to be desired - it wasn't as comfortable as it appeared but it was quite spacious.
At the time I went, the outdoor pool was naturally closed.
The night has a very pleasant musical evening.

Instalações modernas, de qualidade, equipamentos disponíveis todos funcionando e bem cuidados, toda a equipe super simpática e atenciosa. Áreas exteriores e piscina exterior de grande beleza, águas bem tratadas, vistas sobre o rio Douro de encantar. Somente não aconselho a reserva dos quartos no piso inferior à piscina, dado que os ruídos da cascata de agua e o seu escoamento ressoam constantemente, e sobretudo à noite torna-se algo incomodativo.

Hotel de 5 estrelas, mas de facto só mesmo a localização e os preços dos serviços. É a minha segunda vez no hotel e a primeira experiência já não foi muito boa, mas a segunda piorou… é um hotel que necessita de um refresh total que tem vindo a decair com o tempo, em que se faz valer apenas da sua localização. Pelas 14h30 num sábado, com solicitamos uma tosta mista e um creme de legumes. Esperamos 1h40m. Incompreensível num hotel que não serve almoços e apenas estavam 6 hóspedes no bar a consumir bebidas. Os snacks são executados no piso 2 e servidos no piso 6. Talvez a demora se deva aos cozinheiros estarem a fumar no piso da garagem, na rua, com a farda do hotel. Confusões entre funcionários que mais parecem ter saído de escolas de hotelaria. Aliás parece que estão a brincar as escolinhas - frase de um funcionário. Pequeno almoço medíocre igualado a um hotel de duas ou três estrelas. Bolos que ainda estão congelados são colocados no buffet. Reposição demorada. Abordagem dos funcionários bastante agressiva e deproporcional quando questionados. Teem uma atenção mais cuidada com hospedes estrangeiros, talvez pelas gorjetas. No Quarto em que fiquei, o ar condicionado mais parecia um trator. Tivemos que dormir com a porta aberta. O chuveiro e o duche funcionam em simultâneo e não se consegue utilizar um só, Não se consegue regular a temperatura, ou gelado ou a escaldar. A piscina interior, tem demasiado cloro…
