Tiduca Hotel

Wir waren drei Nächte auf unserem Wanderurlaub hier untergebracht. Zimmer mit Ausblick auf den kleinen Hafen und ein schöner Balkon. Es wurde von uns nur zum Übernachten genutzt gegessen haben wir außerhalb. Frühstück ist ausreichend und alles vorhanden, vielleicht wurde ja aufgrund der Bewertungen einiges geändert. Bedingt durch die Nebensaison waren wohl noch weniger Gäste im Hotel, jedenfalls waren wir beim Frühstück immer alleine, kann aber auch an der Uhrzeit gelegen haben. (7.00 Uhr) Die Zimmer waren sauber, die fehlende Toilettentür war für uns auch neu, aber auch das lässt sich regeln.

Das Restaurant und die Küche haben uns sehr gefallen. Freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen. Ein Lift funktioniert nicht. Der andere ist schmutzig. Alle öffentlichen Bereiche sind schmutzig. Zimmer sind gross und sauber. Die Lage des Hotels ist vorzüglich. Ideal für Gruppenreisen.

Ich war drei Nächte mit einer Wandergruppe im Tiduca Hotel und fand den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm: ich habe sehr gut geschlafen, die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet war das beste, das ich während meiner Reise auf den Kapverden gegessen habe. Mein Zimmer war groß und eher zweckmäßig eingerichtet, enthielt aber alles, was man braucht: großer Schrank, bequeme Betten, Schreibtisch mit Steckdosen, um meine verschiedenen Geräte zu laden und ein TV mit vornehmlich portugiesisch sprachigen Programmen. Ich mochte auch den Balkon mit Meerblick sehr, das Meeresrauschen war ein super Geräusch zum Einschlafen. Außerdem konnte ich den Raum gut verdunkeln, was mir wichtig ist, die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut und das WLAN auf dem Zimmer war auch in Ordnung. Das Bad hatte eine große Dusche und viel Ablagefläche für mein gesamtes Zeug. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe vieler Restaurants und Kneipen und ein Supermarkt ist auch nicht allzu weit entfernt. Ein schönes Aufenthalt.

Modern and comfortable hotel at the foot of the small fishing port but without soul. Spacious room with sea and coastal views for us. But some have seen on the interior patio. Special feature of the rooms: no doors for the bathroom. Likewise, no cleaning in the room during our three days of presence. We don't ask for clean sheets and towels but our trash can was overflowing. Very good breakfast, mobbed very early by groups of hikers. But the buffet is very complete with excellent homemade yogurt. We tested the sandwiches after a hike: the best we found on the island. The hotel accepts euros.

Beautiful and comfortable sea view room. Fantastic location on the fishing port. Very good table. Impeccable and friendly service. 1 excellent restaurant right next door. Departure from a fantastic hike towards Fontesinha. No reservations.

Beautiful, very modern hotel complex, certainly the best in Ponta do Sol! My room was spacious with a small office area. The room service is up to standard, as is the bathroom with an impeccable shower, although equipped with a very slippery tray. The only regrets are the very impersonal room, devoid of any decoration (except above the desk), the very ugly exterior view of a dilapidated building, the noisy restaurant room, without any charm, with a surprising view of the kitchens! The coffee is lousy, a real sock juice, however the staff who speak French are very friendly. I recommend the corn ice cream (yes!), excellent! The interest of the hotel lies above all in its proximity to the path which leads to the pretty village of Fontainhas.

Very well located, beautiful view, spacious, comfortable rooms with air conditioning and wifi.... but the building (too big, too high) is very poorly integrated into this small fishing port, with old colonial-style houses. Bad example of what tourism generates.

Superb hotel by the ocean with very friendly and secure staff. Thanks to Adilson Martins who was very welcoming and gave us very good advice (you can ask, he works in hotel security, he's great)
