Central Park Motor Lodge

I was put into Room 101 - this faced straight onto Riccarton Road, which is one very busy road all through the day and night. Also a Vap shop nearby and several eating places. No windows are double glazed so the ghastly traffic and also people late at night speaking loudly, including people staying at the Lodge. The room was very basic and not cleaned while staying for the few days.

Beds were comfy and clean. Good location. Gppd parking. Motel outdoor area good do with a tidy up. Bathroom plughole had alot of hair in it :(

We found the central park motor lodge easy to find, quiet and friendly. Good shower, everything you need for a quick overnight stay. Bed was abot bouncy, the room was nice and clean and quiet.

Convenient with attentive staff.

Needs updating .alot of mould in bathrooom .kitchen had one knife 2forks 1 spoon . Very under resourced. Smelled of mould and smoke. Had to air it out before use.

Was very dirty. Smelled gross. Couch was broken. Curtains didnt open. Unclean table. Just gross.

Booked for 5 adults, only two double beds provided, manager suddenly decided he didnt understand english. The room was absolutely filthy, tacky, smelling of fungal feet and bad bad perspiration all thrown in with rank cooking smells. The lounge was broken and filthy. Asked for refund becuse it was too un hygienic for inhabitants, again he told me to see ******* and disappeared. Travellers beware, this is not what you see in the booking photos . We left and were lucky to get another lovely place to stay at such short notice. 0/10. Dont waste your money and health.

Booked for 5 adults, get to Central Park Motor Lodge, told oh that's a problem, I explained, we booked for adults, this was agreed, took the money, then took us to a room with two double beds ,asked where does the 5th stay, next an old trundle bed rolled in from the 50s, The room absolutely stunk of rotten infected feet,followed by the most terrible smell of sweaty body odor. The carpet was filthy, stained and sticky to walk on , all this followed up with bed mattress that sunk to the-floor and broken sofa lounge that we were told not to use. After feeling not well in a few minutes we opened all the windows and went to get air sanitizer .freshener, come back one hour later, still not fit for habitation, called the manager up, . He said oh yes it is smelly and dirty, i will talk to the cleaner, this was now 7:15pm, I asked for refund as this is not clean and healthy to stay, he disappeared , went to office no one in sight. Bad, very bad and the worst place I have ever seen to be expected to pay for,let alone sleep in. Very Poor Service Even worse conditions. We were very lucky to get another place, a beautiful place for my family to stay in on such short notice.

The couch was stink with sweat smell and the carpet in the room were full with pets hair... Verry noisy at night from the neighboring business...
