AmeriVu Inn and Suites

Very clean and nice hotel. The pool was a nice size and had plenty of room to swim. Very close to numerous restaurants. It has a free breakfast as well. The room was comfortable and spacious. The outside of the hotel is unique compared to other hotels in the area.

Where do I even start? If I could give negative stars I would! First off, we requested rooms together and were separated. Requested 1st floor, got 2nd floor. (Important only because we had to leave most of our things in our vehicles because we weren't going to haul them up and down the stairs every day as we were riding the ATV trails). Lady at the front desk was rude and requested that she see all of the drivers licenses of all the people that were staying in there-which was unnecessary. Got to our room and the sheets were dirty-most definitely from the last guests that stayed there. The phone had at least a years worth of crumbs and grime built up on it. The floors were clearly not vacuumed and to put icing on the cake--there were boogers smeared all over the walls, curtains, and EVEN ON THE CEILING! We just requested to be switched rooms and the lady at the front desk said that there were no other rooms available but when we called in off of a private line they were able to book us into another room however when we explained that we were already there this mystery room was off the table and we were hung up on. We requested house keeping come and clean and they had left for the day so the best they could do for us was give us a new sheet and have housekeeping come the next day. My mother had to clean the boogers off of the wall and ceiling. We finally reached the manager and when we expressed our concerns he flat out told us to pack our stuff and leave-which we would have done had there been any hotel within 40 miles that had an opening and he knew that. He was absolutely rude and his attitude was uncalled for. He did not even offer a discounted rate and our group had 5 rooms and spent $2000 to get the worst service of my life! He couldn't send someone to clean our room but was cleaning vomit out of the parking lot the next day?? How does that make any sense? Also their complimentary breakfast was prepackaged grossness and a crappy waffle maker that ended in a pile of mush. With all of that being said, the housekeeping staff was very friendly and cleaned our room fully the next day well. 0/10 RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOTEL EVER!

After I settled into my room I started noticing how dirty everything was. The entire bathroom was dirty, the mini-fridge was disgusting, there was some crime scene looking stain on the ceiling. I do not believe they actually cleaned the room after the last occupant. We were in town for two days and they did not replace towels or freshen up the room at all during our stay. Go anywhere else but here.

No stars are deserved at this place. Checked in and dropped stuff in room and left right away. Came back that night and opened one bed to find stained sheets, thank goodness other bed was okay. Woke up in the morning to what appeared to be spider bites on my legs. Then noticed spider webs around the walls/ceilings. Saw refrigerator was disgusting. Went to take a shower and the tub was full of hair, shower curtain was filthy with hair hanging on it, grabbed a towel and hair all over them as well. Toilet had hair all over it. Inch of dust on the hair dryer. Went to call the front desk about checking out early and the phone was so disgusting I hated to even use it, I held it out away from my face. Went to front desk and showed pictures to the gal of some of my complaints but she didn't seem to even care and replied we should have called them and they would have come and cleaned the room. I said the room should be clean when we checked in! She couldn't figure out how to refund our 2nd night so we finally said we wanted to get going so she said she would have someone else do it later, I asked for a discount on Friday night since the room was obviously dirty but got no response. So anyway 4 days later still no refund to our card for the 2nd night. I emailed what I thought was the manager right away after we left the place but no response there either. Stay away from this dirty nasty place that has staff who don't care about anything!! Spent 2nd night elsewhere in a hotel that had a cancellation (thank goodness) that was clean and the staff was awesome!!
