Holiday Inn Express Crestwood

Everything was great. We stayed for four nights. The staff was extremely friendly, always asking if we needed anything, accommodating in any way. I would recommend.

The Holiday Inn Express at Crestwood provided my daughter and me a place to stay outside of Chicago. The rate was great and the staff at the desk/check-in were personable and very helpful. They accommodated a request to give a room key to my daughter who was arriving in the wee hours of the morning. When she arrived she was warmly welcomed and given the key without a hassle. The hotel itself is kind of dated and a little sad. For example, the bathroom door didn't shut; a lamp was without a lightbulb; and the towels were a bit on the skimpy side. But overall, it did the job and the people helped increase the overall rating of my stay.

Well, my review unfortunately will be short but hopefully serves as a stern warning to all others considering this hotel to avoid if possible. They are unable to honor confirmed room reservations. Last evening, I had a confirmed reservation for the Holiday Inn Express in Crestwood, for a flight the next morning out of Midway, which was booked directly through the hotel. Upon time of arrival that evening (~9:00 PM), no one was at the front desk and it took approximately ~10 minutes for a receptionist to show up for check in. At that time, I was informed that they would need to "check if a room was available" despite the aforementioned reservation. After waiting in the lobby for approximately 30 minutes, I was informed that my confirmed room was actually no longer available, and that my reservation would be cancelled. There was no offer to arrange alternative stays at a sister property, no offer to put me up in another hotel in the area, was literally told "really sorry for the inconvenience" and "good luck". I was subject to walk out , call an Uber, and try to find an alternative arrangement late at night which may have availability. However, the hotel was so kind enough to leave two follow up voicemails that night from the hotel, at 11:30 and 11:40 that evening, re-informing me that my room was indeed cancelled due to an overbooking, another "sorry for the inconvenience" and nothing else. No explanation was provided, or has been provided since this experience last evening. I cannot recommend stronger to avoid this hotel at all costs.

The person on the reception she is amazing person, she is angel she help me alot when I do my reservation whit ******* ,they chance my date and they want a charge more money and she talk whit the company to respet my date appointment honestly she is the best person, please come she is very nice this job is perfect for her,the only think I have to say my family and me thank so much LATRINA P. It was ants on my bathroom floor a lot of them.

Staff was very professional and nice. The room was terrible. Ripped carpet, cracked/rusted/dirty looking tub, water around the window and above the sink, walls cracked, funny smell.
