This chain hotel is located behind another Hilton property off the main drag in Munster, about a mile or so south of I-80. There are a number of such hotels in the area. This is a good choice. The breakfast area is large and welcoming, with an open and expansive atrium. The staff worked hard to keep up with demand, but they were at times overwhelmed with the number of people wanting to eat at once. There could have been a better selection. For example, fresh fruit would have been a plus. The rooms are large and comfortable with lots of window space.

Easily the worse hotel experience I’ve had. Room 106 was so wet and smelly / moldy that there were mushrooms growing in the carpet. Have had respiratory issues since I left. Mentioned it to the front desk and tried to get a hold of Hilton to no avail. Would go literally anywhere else if you care about your health.

Overall the stay was good nice hotel. However the couch and chair in the living room had a lot of stains and so did the carpet. Also there was no extra bedding for the sofa sleeper. The hot tub cook use some cleaning. There was no towels available when needed. Front desk said they were out

This was the worst experience I’ve had at a Hilton property. Our room didn’t have any paper or plastic cups for water or coffee. The “stocked kitchen” had 1 coffee mug, 3 spoons, 3 knives, 3 bowls, a spatula and a few pots/pans. We booked our room for 2 adults, 2 kids (age 7 & 9) and got a 1 bedroom suite with a king bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed had no linens. I called to the front desk to ask for a set and was told they didn’t have any blankets. That didn’t make sense, it’s a hotel and they didn’t have linens for the sofa bed? Apparently we were expected to sleep 4 in the bed… laziness is what it sounds like to me. The pool was fine other than they had no pool towels. Breakfast was gross. The sausage links were dry and shriveled. The hash browns looked steamed. Just gross. The room was clean and the bed would have been comfortable if we didn’t have 4 people in it sharing one blanket. We would have stayed elsewhere had we known the level of service we would have experienced there.

Had to change almost 2 rooms the room they had us in was beyond dirty , the second one was dirty in areas but I had housekeeping to come clean so I didn’t want to change rooms again , will not stay again !

Room spacious and clean, bed very comfortable. TV placement a little weird but we worked it out. Unacceptable: TV defaults to Fox News Channel whenever turned on. If people want to watch that, it’s their choice, but don’t shove it down our throats. By the way, room could use a printed channel guide. Can’t find clear listings via TV. Staff excellent and often goes above and beyond, recognizing we’re older with mobility challenges, as did the design of our bathroom. Great personnel includes the front desk and the breakfast attendants. Unfortunately, breakfast entrees blah and often gone cold. Coffee inconsistent tending toward bad. (Better at Hampton Inn next door.) We asked in a timely manner today — twice— for partial housekeeping service: fresh towels, replenish TP, empty trash. Never happened. Bagged our own and emergency TP roll from Walgreens on standby, On balance, we still might come again if we were in this area, but hope for improvement.
