The staff was welcomung friendly. The place is very good with nice apartments and beautiful yard that is refreshing. The food was very nice and served in a warm manner. I can recommend the place to others

The place was dirty and lacks maintenance. Very dated, cheap decor. Bathroom and toilet was separate and outside of room. Definitely no covid protocols observed, room looked like it had not been cleaned recently let alone sanitized. Booking agent paid for dinner but I was told dinner was not served on the premises so I was given a voucher to go to the mall for dinner. The restaurant at the mall made me call the B & B to check if the contract with the restaurant was still valid. Breakfast pack was an egg sandwich, apple and juice. No dietary requests were taken. Bedding was thin and shabby with one standard flat pillow. No water in room. Kettle was empty and had to be filled in the bathroom. Water tasted like it came out of a borehole. Towels were grungy and discolored. Floors were filthy. For the same price I could have stayed in a proper hotel

LaRochelle Inn was an unexpected surprise. I normally stay in Richards Bay for one or two nights at a time maybe once per month or so and after trying many different places I found LaRochelle Inn a really pleasant place to stay. Antoinette goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Thank you!

Beautiful and clean property, serene, gives peace of mind. Observed all covid-19 protocols. Good food, a lot of food. Thank you for the good service, keep it up. Can recommend to colleagues and other people going for a break in that area.
