My reserved hotel rented our handicapped room so I had to go to the next hotel down the street. It was the Hampton Inn. The front office staff was super. Got me right in to a handicapped room. The entire hotel was clean and neat. Plenty of room for my wife’s Walker and wheelchair. The bath had a nice sized walk in shower. The only problem was in the shower. The shower head was not attached to the lower bar which would be accessible to someone sitting on the shower. It had been replaced by a wand shower head attached to the wall mounted show. This meant you have to reach up about 6’4” to get the shower head. Not assessable to someone on the shower chair. Breakfast: one of the best. Scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, fresh fruit, various breads, and SCONES, waffles, etc. 24 hour coffee and tea.
