Homewood Suites by Hilton Jackson - Ridgeland

First off, I just want to state that our stay started off so well but after a few days I’ve had to make quite a few complaints. For starters we’ve had not 1 but 2 adults sit here and open multiple containers of alcohol in front of a bunch of children at the pool! Second of all the people above us continue to stomp and do all this other stuff, it wakes up the smaller kids in our room at the crack of dawn which is NOT fun nor is it appreciated. Last but not least this seems to be a big spot for loud teenagers and grown adults who like to act like children. As l’m typing this out you can hear the millions of people screaming and yelling downstairs (we’re on the 2nd floor) my dad has already said something multiple times and they won’t do anything about it. The man who works night shifts is also kinda rude! Has an attitude when you ask him for literally anything! As far as female staff, they are so friendly and polite. About the room itself : it’s nice but for some reason the carpet is ALWAYS soaked somewheres and l’m pretty sure it’s infested with fleas. They only give you 1 full size towel. The bathroom is so small to the point the door literally hooks itself on the toilet. The tub looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks, rust and nasty brown spots all over. Not to mention how small these beds are. Pretty sure they’re a twin XL. My dorm bed is comfier than this.

I nearly cancelled my reservation after reading the recent reviews but decided to keep for the 2 bedroom suite. What I Liked - room with updated furniture, plentiful breakfast, outdoor patio, friendly employees in morning What I Did Not Like - room smelled like fresh paint, tub in 2nd bathroom was visibly dirty and needed to be rinsed down before showering Overall, this stay met our needs.

The staff was impeccable. Customer service goes a long way with me. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. The front desk was welcoming and the room attendants thoroughly prepared our rooms. It was such a friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Room smelled like old carpet. There were hairs on majority of the towels.

I like to start with positives....evening check in girls were very friendly as was the gentleman in the wheelchair in the morning. Nice breakfast worker who was working so hard for the crowd. Now the negatives....GROSS!! is the word to describe the cleaning. Seemed they were very understaffed after a very full previous night and room was given a quick surface cleaning. Large WET spots on the rugs, dirty bathroom floor. VERY uncomfortable beds!! so much so we cancelled our second night because we couldn't sleep. One towel in room, no soap, no TV remote...all of which we had to make trips to the front desk to get. Two large busloads of teens checked in after us. No fault of the hotel how loud and noisy they were but why book them on the top floor so they can stomp around for hours and blast music? I fault the chaperones but could've been alleviated by putting them on lower levels. And yes all of this was reported to the night group. And I guess our biggest beef was not being heard by the manager. We were behind another man to discuss issues the next morning and were told no manager there. When we checked out, the manager ? asked about our stay and we told him not good and were getting ready to tell him why and we were cut off and checked out so we decided to post publicly. Very poor representation of a HILTON property!

Awful experience. The bedding is extremely rough, the pillows were put in half into a folded pillow case and the size of a throw pillow, once unfolded the pillow was too big for the case. The walls are paper thin so the party the neighbors are having mid week middle of the night has me up now for 2 hours and I’m on a business trip. The hotel breezeways stink, the elevator was jumpy and scary to be in. Stay elsewhere, there are much nicer hotels in ridgeland.

It was nice just wasn’t fully clean like little candy was left under the table & it was a big cockroach but besides that it was nice

Nice facility with a few minor maintenance issues like flooring needs to be replaced/ repaired second floor hallway. Other than that it was a great experience.

Smells like roach spray…rooms aren’t anything like the picture
