Travelodge by Wyndham Rigaud

Hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly. There was a noisy bunch there that weekend and it got a little loud but that wasn't the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was very basic but not bad. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Hotel was ok, room was remodeled but the bathroom was not. The staff was good, breakfast a little poor and the room was noisy. Room was clean.

Old property, less than expected for a Wyndham. Lousy beds.

Good value for the money

I've stayed at this hotel over a dozen times. Very convenient and low-cost, when I'm travelling from Ottawa to Montreal. I never had an issue until last weekend. After checking in just after 8pm and watching TV for a couple of hours (just before bedtime) I got out of bed and saw there was blood on the sheets. NOT MINE thank goodness, but I took a photo (timestamped 9:42 pm). It was too late to change rooms, because I had already unpacked and had to get up SUPER early the next morning to be in Montreal for 7:00 am, so I just slept on the other side of the bed. I requested a refund the next morning, sending them a picture of the blood on the sheets. They refused compensation, saying "I should have told them the previous evening when I discovered the problem" They also said "they found Band-aid wrappers in the room". Well, I never used a Band-aid, because I never cut myself. It was leftover from the previous occupant, which they said was "impossible". What is "impossible" is the likelihood of me ever staying there again. I have no issue with mistakes, we all make them; what I can't tolerate is a company (the hotel) not taking responsibility for their mistakes and making it right. If you won't admit it, you'll never fix it.
