Bastion hotel cleaner than the previous one but unfortunately still not worth its price despite everything. For a short stay in order to just sleep on site that is enough also pay attention to the restaurant which I find expensive for what it is as well as the "free drink" normally in all bastion hotels, this one was "forgotten" during our arrived we asked for it during the evening service, the first server seemed not to know what we were talking about and asked for her manager who asked us if we wanted her to also go see her superior, out of politeness and above all out of embarrassment we declined this offer then we still went to see the receptionist in order to pay for our meal and thus have a word with him about this famous ticket which in the end was handed to us as best we could. We actually saw that he did not give it to any customers, so could it be due to an oversight or the desire not to take advantage of this offer that they themselves had put in place? In itself the hotel is sufficient but don't expect great luxury especially for a 4 star.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Chair was too dirty (stained) to sit on. Open shower got everything wet. Towel racks at 6 ft-plus height, only helpful for tall people. No desk space to work at. Tiny TV. Bathroom freezing cold.
On plus side: good breakfast, friendly staff, gated parking.

Prima prijs/kwaliteit, tram naar centrum en Scheveningen op 400m, prima ontbijt en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Kleine kamer/badkamer en erg zachte matrassen. Kosteloos parkeren. Binnen 5 minuten op de snelweg, uitstekend openbaar vervoer

De service was top qua vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid.
Het ontbijt was dik in orde: heel uitgebreid en heel lekker! Goede ligging qua bereikbaarheid (snelweg). Vééél parkeergelegenheid en bewaakte parkeerplaatsen. De accommodatie was omvangrijk en netjes.

In de badkamer ontbrak een tabletje in douche om shampoo op te zetten. De temperatuur was aangenaam maar de kamer warmde niet meteen op als je 't hoger zette.
Kortom een heel gezellige plek om te verblijven!

I wouldn’t waste money on this hotel especially as there is a 4 star one 5mins away that is cheaper. The room wasn’t as clean as one would expect. We found a clump of hair in the shower from the previous occupants. The heater makes an awful noise which is disturbing if you are trying to sleep and the shower was broken. Asked if we could change rooms and the receptionist on duty didn’t seem as though she was interested in helping us. Asked for a kettle for the room but it was full of lime scale so couldn’t even use it. Bathroom door is frosted glass so not much privacy when on the toilet. No shelf in the shower to stand shower gels/shampoo etc. The only positive is that the beds we’re comfortable.
