I liked it here. New, clean, modern, it was just what I like. The room was pretty large, comfortable, and had everything I need - although a power point by the bed was lacking, meaning I couldn't have my phone by the bed and charge it up. Reception was efficient. The bar is quirky. Breakfast is ok - not exactly overly wide range of choice, but covers the basics well enough. I like the fact that registering for the wifi takes you to a web-page where they have lots of local and hotel information including a link to running routes. The running route through the park (5k) is great although - warning - the first mile is all downhill, the painfully logical effect of this is that the last part is all uphill to the finish. The wifi was fast and easy to connect to. You do need to re-accept the T&Cs every day. Yes I would be happy to stay here again.

Der Aufenthalt im Mercure Bad Oeynhausen war gut, es gibt kaum etwas zu beanstanden. Zimmer Ausreichend eingerichtet, dunkles Holz und große Fenster. Natürlich Nichtraucherzimmer, allerdings nach vorne raus mit einem kleinen, begehbaren Balkon und Aschenbechern ausgestattet. Die Matratzen waren für uns leider viel zu weich, was in Rückenschmerzen endete. Eine Flasche Mineralwasser statt einer Minibar. Platz im Schrank war vorhanden, Safe und TV ebenfalls. Leider war die Fernbedienung kaputt. Bad Groß, mit Dusche, Handtuchhaltern umd natürlich Hand- und Duschtüchern. Alles war sauber, allerdings roch es nicht komplett gut, da die Lüftung nach dem Zimmerservice wohl nicht angeschaltet wurde und ein starkes Reinigungsmittel genutzt wird. Frühstück Das Frühstück war sehr gut, verschiedene brot- und Brötchensorten, zahlreiche Aufstriche und auch andere Toppings. Außerdem verschiedene Säfte, Filterkaffee sowie Kaffeespezialitäten. Auch als Veganer sind wir sehr satt geworden.

The breakfast is good and rich, which is a typical German breakfast bar, bread cheese sausages, coffee yogurt cereals, fried eggs and boiled eggs, etc. However, German bread and cheese are really perfect and delicious! Suitable for children, the town has a population of 50,000, there are not many people on the street, and the scenery is beautiful. The hotel is not far from the city center. The elbow to eat is the best time in this trip to Germany! Also went to the Piper Museum! All in all good

Hotel is well located just on the outer edge of the heart of Minden. It’s about a five minute walk to the cathedral and main square. Staff were pleasant and professional. Rooms were clean and fairy comfortable but there is no A/C so it was a bit uncomfortable on one particularly warm night. I wouldn’t mind a fan in this case. Other minor issues were no safe the room and the way wardrobe and bathroom doors open constantly banging into each other. The plus factors were the buffet breakfast; if not included then it’s 19€ pp. Another plus is on site parking; the best parking on the street outside the hotel. The garage spots are tiny and require patience or skill to manoeuvre your car into one. I wasn’t charged for parking but they supposedly charged 11€ per day. Definitely a nice hotel but some minor issues prevents a 5/5 rating
