I am appalled and disgusted with the behavior of this hotel. On our first night after check-in, I take a shower and grab one of the supposedly clean folded towels and AFTER I have dried myself I notice there is human feces on the towel. I don't know what was more disgusting, how they decided to handle the situation or that I used the towel with feces. I had to shower again and then bathe in alcohol. From there I moved to another hotel where I was very worried about any gynecological infection caused by the serious incident throughout my stay. After expressing my very indignant concern and the definite health code violation I went to the reception, I had a talk with a person from housekeeping to whom I have no comment since she was not the person with whom needed to resolve this. The general manager of the hotel called me the next day to hear what had happened, saying that she wanted to better understand the situation. I explained it to her and that's when she asked me if the people in the room with me could have done that. A lack of respect on the part of the manager wanting to place the blame on others except for the hotel. She agreed to contact me the next day to solve it in the best way and it never happened, I'm still waiting. A late check out was not the appropriate way to handle a situation of this scale and they were not even kind enough to discount the miserable two waters we drank from the bar. I paid for my stay, and for the water I consumed but I won't pay to dry myself with a towel full of s**. I am extremely outraged.

I arrived way too early for check in but reception was so welcoming, they offered me my welcome drink and accommodated my early check in request and got me a room a floor beneath the rooftop pool and bar! Which meant I was a flight of stairs away from the captivating views of Copacobana Beach and direct pool access. Made it up to my room right as the sun was peeking to rise and captured my first beautiful priceless moment in Rio de Janeiro! Everything about this hotel is premiere! The service is impeccable and any complaints or issues are dealt with right away. The concierge staff is always readily available for advise on things to do or places to eat depending on your tastes and acquiring bookings for activities for non Portuguese speakers like myself was effortless! Breakfasts are well attended to and their spread is admirably top notch! Rooftop bar staff are very efficient and courteous as well! Just top notch everything! This hotel is so worth the long review because of how everything is executed by them! They truly deserve their five star rating and there is no doubt in my mind that when I come back to Rio, I’ll definitely choose Miramar by Windsor Copacobana!

O melhor Selina que já estive hospedada. Muito charmoso e bem decorado, cama macia, chuveiro com ótima pressão e água bem quentinha, localização maravilhosa. Possui cozinha compartilhada para quem deseja fazer sua refeição no local.

I really liked the hotel, excellent location, very close to the beach, metro practically at the door of the hotel. Excellent service and good accommodation.

My four-night stay here while visiting RJ couldn’t have been better and more suited for my basic needs as a solo traveler. I knew coming in that I wouldn't be receiving luxury, spaciousness, or any big perks common at higher-end chains—I booked for the unbeatable $29 price and wonderful location, and nothing more. So if you’re expecting anything extra, this isn’t the property for you. But I really enjoyed my stay!! The staff, especially a super nice woman at check-in whose name I dreadfully forget, made my visit special. Everyone was willing and excited to help with anything I needed, including supplying me copious bottles of water to last me the week. When I needed a wheelchair-accessible taxi to pick up my wheelchair when it lost battery, the aforementioned woman was so kind and helpful for calling local companies and their drivers to find someone on a moment’s notice. Thank you! The rooms were definitely small and basic, but they were clean and in far better shape than most Ibis properties I would end up staying at while in Europe in June 2022. My electric wheelchair just barely fit through the door and into the space. Knowing that all I really needed at a hotel on my RJ trip was just a bed to lay my head on, the Ibis Budget provided me that, put simply. I also requested a room facing the interior apartment block area (i.e. away from the street), and noise levels were perfect for my sensitive ears. Traffic in RJ isn’t too noisy anyway, but I recommend these rooms for anyone in any case. Stays like these are what make me grateful to be a loyal newcomer to Accor and their rewards program. I very much enjoyed my stay, and for your wallet’s sake, I recommend booking here. And the location…mere blocks from Copacabana! Thank you!

Old, very old and sleeved beds and beds. Clean but sleeved and broken. Towels: very used, with some sleeves. It's time for them to make a complete renovation. It's the basic thing that is asked for a 3-star hotel. Cleanliness: very light, upstairs. A bad breakfast: abundant, missing more variety of fruit, with everything Brazil has was scarce. Excellent staff. Mobile: old, with little maintenance. Time of replacement. nice: on the head of bed there were the beads of light, i.e. when you wanted to sleep with the coat you took the light without wishing. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

I was hosted in this hotel last weekend - 02 to 03/07/2022. I have contacted me, and Mrs Vanessa has answered me, she kept the forgotten pieces, and the next day she sent me for Sedex with great delight and sympathy, and I would like to congratulate her on the sensitivity and empathy shown by that person. All the staff very careful and efficient.

We were given the worst room in the hotel to start with. No window, small double bed… after we complained they moved us to a slightly better room but on the first floor with a window overlooking a car park... There were various issues throughout our stay, such as, the inconvenience of moving rooms, carrying our heavy luggage around. Also, we asked to add one extra day (a 5th day) to our booking. But on the 4th day the key card stopped working because it had not processed through their system that our stay had been extended so we could not get enter our room. So that was another trip downstairs to join the reception queue to try sort it… The breakfast was good, there was a selection of 4 natural fruit juices and the food never ran out and was always fresh. The swimming pool was small and they had a 1 hour slot booking system if you wanted to use it. The pool was crowded; there were people drinking beer in the pool and the water was a bit dirty and too warm. There weren’t enough sun loungers for everyone despite the booking system. They give you beach towels but make sure you know you will be charged if the towel is not returned to them. Checking out was a problem too. Our Uber was almost there to collect us and the hotel staff said they needed to check our room before we could leave, to see if we had consumed anything from the fridge in the room. I paid for the outstanding charges and I told them we hadn’t consumed anything and any issues please call, and I left. She gave me a look as I was leaving as if I was doing something wrong. Finally, I am still waiting for the reimbursement of the deposit I had to pay (500 reais) at check in - it’s now been 3 weeks. While we were there, I heard a couple at reception complaining about their car - the car park at the hotel was apparently full and the owner did not want his car to be parked elsewhere. Oh and lastly: I would say good evening to staff at the front door every time I walked past and NOT ONCE was I greeted in return.

I stayed in the hotel for the commitment I had because it was close. As it was one night only, I chose to book. The room was very dirty, sabble paper open in the pier, all dirty. 2 towels, 1 was acceptable and the other was completely swept and damaged. I put it on the floor because I had no courage to use it. The bed is horrible and noisy, and the dressers too. Have you seen a short shirt? Yes, it was so much to cover up to half the body and thinnerly impossible. I had nothing but that shirt to cover. Summary: I didn't sleep anything, super discomfortable. It's all about all the rooms, bad clothing. Coffee is half mouth, but in any case I've seen worse. The only positive point is that the reception official called ”D”. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the information that the system was out of the air and would take a little, then the same offered us 2 courtesy drinks for the event. The only thing I liked at the hotel, but you're only reserved in the last case if you don't want to get angry.

Very good place. I recommend. However, I had the misfortune of staying on the lower floors where the TVs are still old and the sound from the street makes it difficult to rest.
