Facing the edge of Copacabana Beach, it is safe and convenient for morning walks to the beach. The breakfast buffet is also plentiful, especially the freshly baked Pão de Queijo. The rooms have a historic feel and are comfortable, and we made extensive use of the gym.

The hotel is quite beautiful, which means I am quite satisfied with it. Especially when there are performances in the evening, it feels lively and has a vacation-like atmosphere. According to the standards of Golden Diamond, I think it is still a bit not good enough. For example, the breakfast restaurant is simple in decoration. The food is scattered and scattered, like a guest house

The facilities are good and, above all, the staff are very friendly.

Fairmont is very new, with complete facilities and very good services. The swimming pool is very beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel to Chinese people visiting Rio.

Excellent hotel, but check-in and check-out could be better organized, very time consuming, messy and disorganized for a hotel of this level.

Best position between Copacabana and Ipanema, very professional service, I experienced Fairmont Gold which is value for money in terms of upgraded accommodation (last floor and full view on Copacabana) and dedicated lounge for breakfast and concierge services

I absolutely loved this hotel! Prime location right on the beach, gorgeous pool area, spacious and clean fitness center. The bedroom was beautiful and provided enough space for me to work remotely! And the staff was 10/10! This was my first stay there and I can’t wait to go back!

Stayed here for a week for a business trip and it was lovely. Having breakfast outside with a view of the mountains and ocean was a great way to start the day. Renata at the host stand was great. The food at the hotel was very good. The spa was wonderful and my room was very comfortable.

Last June I went to Brazil with my dad and this was a very special trip for us for many personal reasons, therefore I researched for a good hotel to stay and when I saw the pictures from Fairmont Copacabana I just knew immediately this was the best place to stay, but I had no idea that our experience would superpass our expectations. I told them in advance that I was traveling with my dad and that he was coming back to his second home country after 40 years and asked them to help me surprise him. However their service was beyond what I was expecting, they not only received us in a very special way (and by special way I mean with gifts included and everything); they made sure our stay was memorable in all ways possible. We stay for over 10 days and everyday our room was cleaned, the attention we received at breakfast time was personalized and excellent. All Fairmont crew knew who we were and made sure we had a great time. The amenities of this place are just incredible, the view, the food, the room service and spa they have are just incredible. So if you are looking for a place to stay don't hesitate to book Fairmont Copacabana it's worth every penny and more! I will forever treasure the great memories I was able to do with my dad, and will be forever thankful with the entire Fairmont crew for their kind and excellent service, with no doubt this is a +5 star hotel and would love to come back and stay with you guys again. Comfortable room, incredible food and above all else, the service was remarkable and welcoming. Will definitely come here again for another astonishing time. “Carbcos” in particular was a pleasure to talk to, along with being massively reliable and professional.

I had a wonderful experience at the Fairmont Copacabana! Check in was fast quick and I was even able to check in early. The room was well appointed and very comfortable, and the view was outstanding!!! The pool areas are absolutely lovely and so relaxing. The beach club is just a quick walk across the street and has comfortable loungers and towel service. The hotel breakfast was delicious. Look forward to returning!

Stayed at the Fairmont for two nights, we had booked a sea view room and if we looked hard we could see the sea from our corner room. The room that we were given was an "accessable" room and therefor had pleanty of space, there was a sofa to relax on as well as a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom was large, due to teh accessability and teh sink and toilet were not at a silly height so there were no issues. Overall, the room provided a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a nice affair, sat on the balcolny outside the breakfast facility overlooking the great Cococabana beach and teh rolling waves. There was pleanty of choice for breakfast also and teh staff wer emost helpful. The main issue for me was the safe that is in th eroom, it was not bolted down and could be easily removed, which provided a concern when we left thisngs in it. I raised this with reception and was advised all teh rooms were the same, which i observed in two rooms for myself. Whats the point of a safe if it can be removed?? This is crazy and should be rectified.

We are in the middle of a 7 night stay here. Overall it’s a nice place but we are really disappointed in the service. The pool / lounge area is a bit small and always a bit crowded, which is unfortunately the only area available to eat / drink much of the time. There is a restaurant next door but it has limited hours. The wait to order and receive a drink is incredibly long in general. They have this thing where one waiter will come by and ask what you want, then nothing ever comes. Someone else will come by and ask if everything is ok. It’s like no one communicates or has any idea what the others are doing. No one takes responsibility or follows thru with the service. We have experienced this on multiple evenings so far. The other night we ordered caviar, the blinis came out stale and moldy, it was gross. They apologized and had no alternative. Currently tonight, we’ve been waiting 45 minutes for a drink. There’s a private event and they don’t have enough staff here. Not what you would expect for a 5 star resort…

The service is very poor. Waiting so long for a drink! No one seems to know what they are doing. Food came out spoiled. Even the manager didn’t compensate us. The view in the hotel is great. The pool has a wonderful. Getting our room cleaned each day has been slow as well.
