Great location, close to Santos Dummont airport, city center and connection to the south via Flamengo landfill. Great bed, clean and new room. Have a nice breakfast. Good infrastructure and service. The price is a little expensive for the location, but it's worth it.

Old and in need of repairs and renovation. Air conditioning makes a lot of noise… Location ok for what I needed, but not safe. I wouldn't go back, unless the distance is worth it.

One night stopover convenient for SDU airport (although our flight was cancelled suddenly), and our airline took us to GIG. We were given a room that was comfortable but sadly the bathroom had a snag list as long as your arm. 1 no door architrave on inside. 2 Mirror light hanging free suspended by it’s wires. 3 No vent grille on extractor, just a big hole (and the thing didn’t cut out at all. 4 Towel rail so loose we dare not hang a towel on it. 5 Shower soap dispenser completely empty. Avoid end room 470 (4th floor).

Sinceramente sai decepcionada, eu já trabalhei na rede, e nunca imaginei que estivesse tão ruim, uma decepção! O Atendimento foi muito devagar. E precisa realmente de reformas geral, o quarto que fiquei estava com sofás rasgados. Nunca imaginei que fosse fazer essa avaliação, mas é sempre bom terem um feedback. A rede Accor sempre foi excelência em relação aos outros hotéis.

5 minutes from the airport (you just need to take the walkway and you are there), this Novotel offers a good stay for your short stay in Rio. They need to renew rooms though. Friendly and professional staff. A little expensive for what it offers.
