The hotel atlântico rio is in decline, I have stayed there 4 times since 2017, but this last stay in 03/2024 was regrettable, the drop in services, the quality of the breakfast and one thing that left me very disappointed, is the fact if you arrive before check-in time, which is 2pm and need to store your bags to leave, they charge you R$ 30.00. This is absurd, as I already had my accommodation paid for, I questioned that my stay was already over. guaranteed and it was already paid for through the Trip platform, I wouldn't use the hotel's services without staying, it's the first time I've seen this in a hotel! In short, they don't know how to captivate the guest, they just want to suck up *********, it's a hotel that was once good, but today it's falling into disrepair, I don't recommend it! There are better hotels around and with similar prices, I regretted staying there, I didn't know the quality had dropped so much! The only good thing about the hotel is the location, that's all!

Bad facilities, the room door was difficult to open, and the key did not always work, you had to pass it several times for it to work. The elevator was terrible, only 2 working and when they reached the floor they were full (they were very small, and there were few people) so you had to wait for the other one, you wasted at least 20 minutes asking for the elevator. The breakfast was average, nothing like you see in the photographs.

Terrible. Elevator always impossible, I took the stairs several times. So far so good.
There were no towels in the room for 3 days. It's not that they didn't wash it: THEY DIDN'T!!!! I complained and it continued without.
Housekeeping opened the room door with me inside, without knocking properly, at 12pm, in the middle of my stay (there were several days left), pressuring me to release it for cleaning, which was only until 2pm (TWO HOURS LATER). I said I would be leaving soon and asked for towels because I didn't have any. She grudgingly replied that she would only use a towel when cleaning, hahahha.
The negligence is incredible... Good location, next to the subway, and OK breakfast. Other than that, very bad.
