Hotel needs modernization urgently. Everything in the room were very old. Also most of the staff at reception were not friendly and lack welcoming attitude.

Good and central clean hotel. Basic service. However there’s only one elevator functioning for 14 floors so we had to wait up to 10min every time and we were located at the 14th floor! Pool was small so we didn’t swim (in case you’re choosing based on that). 5min away from Copacabana beach and a lot of restaurants around, quiet rooms is why I think it’s a good choice still

The Hotel was in construction, they didn't have people enough to attend in the reception when I got there.
The TV was not working in the room, the Phone was not working, the fire alarm is on top of the beds where they blinck all night.
They don't have full mirror in the room.
I had for 3 times recharge my door card.
I had some delivery been drop in the hotel, they never communicate with us to let us know the delivery was there.
Some important delivery was done and they said that the guess was not there, when we was.
Do I stay in this hotel again??? Maybe not
My recommendation at this moment is: they have to upgrade a lot to be charge the price.

Take a deposit of £58 upon arrival. Rooftop bar never gave you change they would sometimes make you sign a receipt other times wouldn't so upon check out claimed we never paid one bar bill which we paid every time. They later took £60 from my account for 2 beers I'd already paid for. I emailed several times they choose to ignore. They even ignored trip.com. untrustworthy robbing people do not go. They removed table and chairs from 7.30pm new years eve forcing people to stand til after the fireworks. There was just no need for this as there was ample room. The bar manger was rude and aggressive to us. So unhelpful. There is no kettle huge no no in such an expensive hotel

The hotel is located on the main street, a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. There's a currency exchange office nearby with a good rate, but it's closed on weekends and closes at 6:00 PM. Breakfasts are delicious, security is on hand, and it's very safe. We left documents and other savings in the safe, and nothing was lost. During holidays, the hotel tightens security and access control. There's a pool and a terrace with a bar with a stunning view. The room is very comfortable, the bed is also comfortable, the water pressure is excellent, and there are European-style outlets.

Located 5 minutes from the beach, the location is good, and the breakfast is decent. The receptionist speaks English, which is helpful, and they are very patient in answering questions. I really liked the hotel. It was clean everywhere, the service was excellent, the room was nice and spacious, with two bathrooms and a great bed. The staff was helpful and all issues were resolved quickly. It was a 5-minute walk to the sea. The breakfast was excellent. There was a rooftop pool and a beautiful view of the city.
