Located very close to the Selaron Stairs (Escadaria Selarón). This makes it easy to get to the stairs early (6-7am) to avoid the crowds.
Great food available for purchase and a decent breakfast. My favorite was the fried tapioca cubes!!!!!
There are lots of activities advertised but I didn’t join them.
One downfall: the sheets didn’t fit the bed. They left the bottom of the mattress exposed which is a bit unsettling.

Thank you for the wonderful stay at an excellent hotel, in a prime location in Rio, with impeccable service and rooms. (Even in the standard category, you'll feel cozy and comfortable in a bed with a soft mattress. The food at the hotel's restaurant is amazing; the chef prepares delicious dishes. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back.)

Great stay. We visited Selina’s across South America and this is one of the best. Very helpful staff, modern clean rooms, amazing shared spaces and a cool roof top bar where we listened to some cool music.
