I really liked the hotel! Attentive staff, good service, clean, bright rooms, and also spacious! There are two large full-length mirrors (I love it). The location is convenient: the metro, the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana are a 5-minute walk away, there are restaurants and a grocery store nearby.
Breakfast is served in a delicious buffet format. I counted 10 types of fruits and berries!

It is not a 4 star hotel experience. The room was not tidied up even though we spent most of the day out of the room, the change of towels had to be requested twice, after arriving from the beach and not being able to shower with clean towels (and even the new one they brought was stained and dry like sandpaper), the air conditioning in the common areas (entrance hall and cafe area) was not working for two days on the two hottest days of the year in Rio, and the breakfast is good, but nothing spectacular. Rooms with large beds and good facilities. Bad wifi.

Lack of maintenance at the hotel. In the room we stayed in, the handle that opens the window was broken, the whiteboard on the panel around the TV was falling apart, the bathtub didn't work and they put flagging material like bath salts in it, water from the shower remained in the bathtub showing a blocked drain, bar broken elevator, etc…

The staff that work here are awesome. Very friendly. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast was great. The location is perfect. The room is furnished well. The air con worked perfect . Overall it was a perfect stay, no complaints. The bed and pillows were great as well . Highly recommend .
