Rede Andrade Lapa has seen better days. The hotel has the potential to better serve its guests, starting with general cleaning, both in common areas (such as the elevator, restaurant and reception, for example), and in each unit. The facilities are modern and functional, but already show clear signs that they are in need of maintenance. Right at the reception, I noticed that the staff chairs were torn and the wallpaper was coming off the dirty wall. In the room we stayed in, the bedside lamp didn't turn on, the furniture showed obvious signs of wear. Damaged walls (plaster showing) and with many marks next to the bed (?). The white linen (towels, pillowcases and sheets) on our bed had stains and was quite yellow). The mattress is comfortable, but its fabric had tears on the sides (needing to be changed or a cover put on after a good cleaning). The shower is very good. Breakfast quite filling and delicious. There are no other public transport options nearby besides the bus, so the best way for travelers to get to and from the hotel will be to use apps. There are restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, fruit shops, ice cream parlors and even a laundromat very close by. This is the big advantage for those who don't care so much about the cleanliness and conservation of the place they intend to stay. Personally, I would only return to Rede Andrade Lapa if the daily rate was on a very good promotion, as there are other better options in the region for a much more attractive cost-benefit ratio.
