Perfekt lokation, lige i hjertet af Ipanema og Copacabana. Venligt personale der altid stod klar til at hjælpe. Det er pengene værd - og i vil ikke fortryde at have en pool på rooftop med udsigt til Ipanema strand.

This hotel is well located and modern. Our room was comfortable and had great views. The rooftop pool is small but again has good views and food. The staff at the pool however was rude and unhelpful. The reception staff was not particularly welcoming either. The most disappointing was the breakfast which we found pretty basic for a 4 star hotel.

The Perfect hotel, in which the common areas are very cold. Dont wear just t-shirt for Breakfast, because breakfast is great and I will stay there. Coffee is amazing. Fresh fruit too. Always some brazil specials. always nice and we thank you! Safe and clean room.

This is a lovely hotel. It is great for walking around Ipanema (and about a 10-minute walk from the Hippie market). You can also take an uber downtown. We booked our excursions before arriving, so I'm not sure if the hotel offers these services. The rooms are a decent size, and clean and the shower is very nice. The breakfast buffet is okay and has enough variety for a really good breakfast. It is crowded closer to when breakfast ends, but we didn't have any problem finding a seat. There are restaurants nearby, about two blocks walking in the opposite direction of the beach. You should try the "pop-up restaurant" in the evening that has gyros across the street on the left from the hamburger place and cafes. The staff were okay. The bellboys are exceptional, and I found them to be the most helpful.

Location is the only redeeming quality of this hotel. Rooms are FINE, but they are paper thin. Customer service is non existent. There’s a coffee booth at the front of the hotel that I saw one person working once and I was there for 10 nights. I asked if I could check in an hour early, I ended up waiting 1.5 hours (30 mins past check in time) to check in. Wasn’t allowed to have friends up to my room during NYE, lots of rules, lots of questions and zero amenities to show for it. I went 2 days without soap being replaced, breakfast cuts off DIRECTLY at 9:50c is supposed to start at 6, but actually starts closer to 6:30. Food is mediocre. If you’re fine with spending $200-$300 a night for a bed and a great location, this is the spot for you. No other redeeming qualities.

We loved our stay at Arena Ipanema. The hotel staff were super friendly & helpful. Amenities super clean with easy access to several restaurants in Ipanema, Copacabana & Leblon. We would recommend and come back if necessary. We had an amazing trip!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Really good location, good breakfast, modern decor. The down side is that it is impossible to sleep in the mornings because of the crazy noise the housekeepers do moving furniture around starting super early and going on until lunch time.
