El hotel estuvo más que excelente! Superó mis expectativas ! Muy limpio , precio súper bien , incluía desayuno, además el restaurante del hotel la comida era muy buena y excelente precio ! Lo recomiendo mucho !!

Loved our stay at the Yuum Ha. Great view of the bay and fishing boats. Enjoyed watching the pelicans and gulls pass by our window. Friendly service. Enjoyed breakfast both mornings and dinner one night on the patio. Easy to stroll along the beach/walkway to other restaurants. Parked on the street in front of the hotel. We are so glad we decided to stay at this hotel in this laidback fishing village.
Got up at 5:30 am to take a birding tour where we saw dozens of flamingos and many other varieties of birds. Perfect way to start the day. We had made arrangements for a tour before we arrived, but there are many tour operators waiting to help you when you get there.

Great view! Yuum Ha Hotel location was very nice and right across from the malecon. The pool was better than expected and great for cooling off in. The staff were very friendly and especially Bernaby (Barnaby) and Julie. We loved walking to Sendero Peten Mac and making use of a mototaxista Juan who we used for an excursion to San Felipe and Las Coloradas and playa Cancunito. Juan has a mototaxi that has good shade and he was friendly and pointed out crocodiles in mangroves at the side of the road. It was only 20 minutes by mototaxi to San Felipe and 40 minutes to Las Coloradas. You can contact Juan through the hotel’s front desk staff. The posted hotel rules regarding no outside beverages or food even in rooms, seemed very unreasonable and so we ignored the rule. We did also eat and drink in the hotel restaurant area.

There were a lot of good things about this hotel, it was clean and comfortable. Lots of towels and decent shampoo/soap, and a nice mini fridge stocked with snacks if you like (junk food snacks, of course). We had dinner at their restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. We were on the third floor and went up to the roof to watch the sunset - it was gorgeous. Unfortunately, I came to this hotel to sleep and I didn’t at all. There was music blasting until 12:30am, dogs barking all night long, and motorcycles driving on the road in front of the hotel all night long. I’m not sure if the music was coming from the bar at the hotel or if it just carried, but I could hear the words clearly over the AC fan on high. My husband slept with ear plugs in and he still heard it all. So, yes, it is a nice a hotel but it’s not sound proof at all, so if you’re not a heavy sleeper, try a different hotel or a different town.

Me parece que es la mejor opción en Rio Lagartos. La habitación es promedio. Al ser hotel boutique no cuenta con elevador por lo cual tuvimos que cargar nuestras maletas y nadie nos ofreció ayuda. La ventaja realmente es la ubicación. Muy húmedas las habitaciones. Mi recomendación en este caso sería hosped**** en algún otro lugar cercano por que como comenté, es la mejor opción en rio lagartos y se queda muy corta.

Outstanding boutique hotel on the water. Phenomenal food breakfast lunch and dinner. Clean rooms. Great Wi-Fi and extremely well run. Highly recommend. Jo and all of the staff made the experience memorable and delightful. We were traveling to fish the area (excellent fishing and guides with Tarpon Cay Lodge) and the stay made the trip.
